~~~~ What does a nosy pepper do? Gets jalapeño business!~~~~ Hello everyboomie. It's nice to see everyone still alive and kicking. I've been in disconnect all week. I think that's the longest I've gone without posting since 2005........except for last week?? I think everyone needs to tune the world out every now and then, and right now the world is way too noisy for me, sorry. Not that GBs has anything to do with all of that. I was just off line for the most part and in my own (very little) world. Well I hope these jokes are not too colorful for you. A splash of color for all the gray going on in the world. I went to Lowe's today to get material for another little home project. I'm going to put a little cedar fence around my AC unit on the West side of the house. I put up the shutters I ordered and got in for that side yesterday. If it gets any nicer over there I'll want to shift my front door to that side. Have a fantastic week everyone. joe
Thanks so much for starting a new week for us, Joe. I completely understand shutting out everything and disconnecting a bit. I am thankful you came back to check in a start a new week! I've been having a bit of a bum stretch and need to shake it off too. Let's make it a great week! Have a great day everyone! Ana
Got good news from chiropractor this morning. I've been seeing him for almost 2 years now, and recent x-rays show improvement in spine and hip areas. Biggest issue now is regaining my balance for easier, less painful walking. Getting those addressed with my exercise class. Looks like I'll be able to get most, if not all, of the current home projects I have on my mind will possibly get done in July. That will make me feel so much better no matter what else is going on in the world. gymcandy, don't mean to rain on your parade or knock your efforts, but I can hardly read the words in darker colors.
Joe, sounds like you are having fun spiffing up the place. We need to spend some time doing that too. I had a good walk in the neighborhood today. Got in 3 miles and lots and lots of hills. Been on a dead run the rest of the day, but Finally I am at that point where except for tending to son's guinea pigs tonight (son and g'sons are camping) I'm Done! Time to relax! Have a great evening ya'll
Good morning Boomers. I hope you're all well this morning. Ana I hope your week is not too rushed and stressful. Take care out there. Family enjoy your day's activities. Court shows? Good morning Gerry. Great to see you. Thanks for the coffee. I'm trying to cut back, but not doing a very good job of it. Your coffee is too good. Good morning Connie. As always thanks for the great breakfast. I always have to start my day with a scrambled egg and sausage links. Butterflybabe congrats on the good news from your chiropractor! That's wonderful. My back feels like it's a bundle of knots. I really could use a visit to a chiropractor. Hi Space Quest Fan. How are you today? What's on your agenda this week? L4L it's great when you live in a great fixer-upper like I do. I keep finding little projects I can do and then take a bunch of pics and post them on FB for my family to see how I'm spending my time......and my son's inheritance. Soot congratulations on getting through day 1 of your long busy work week. I hope the rest is not too much of a grind. Taintedfury I'm glad you like the jokes. After 15 years it's difficult to find fresh ones. How is your hand? Do you have another surgery coming? Sleep well. Hello Mary. Very good to see you anytime you come to the diner. I hope life is treating you kind these days. I really need to go to Walmart and stock up, but I think I'll blow that off. I need to mow the lawn, and I think I'll jump out and do that before it gets too hot. Have an awesome day everyone. joe
Good morning and happy Tuesday I had a lovely run at the park this morning. Our weather has cooled a bit and it is much nicer out there right now. Wish it would stay this way. Now I have to go spend some time with the piggie boys. Have a great one, ya'll
Quick, I can still say Good Morning, instead of Good Afternoon! It's a gorgeous day in AL. I had an great hill walk today. Stopped to visit with a neighbor for a second and chatted with daughter about spaghetti sauce. Home to feed the piggie boys and now on hold with the insurance company who did something funky with our charge this month. Son and g'sons will be home tonight (late) and then have to get out all the camping stuff and dry it out as they had lots and lots of rain. They also had a bear in their campsite Taking wee man Soot back to the vet later. Still upchucking at least once a day. Time for more tests and perhaps a food change or a medication addition. Have a great day
