Just bought the new Mystery Case Files "The Harbinger" and am unable to run it full-screen. If I play it windowed, it doesn't flicker. www.rababr.org/20200820_154917.mp4

But even if it's a desktop, you still may be using integrated graphics if you don't have a stand-alone video card.

It's just distracting to see parts of the desktop surrounding the game. I might try some different settings, and maybe overlaying the desktop with black.  I had a similar problem with an older computer. I changed the desktop "wallpaper" to solid black and moved all the icons to the middle of the desktop, where they'd be covered by the game window.

That would be the case - integrated is what I have.
