Epic is out to get Steam, and that's why there are free games every 2 weeks or so. All the free games are also available on Steam, of course. It's obvious on Day 1 that Epic has it in for Steam. Let's see if their gambit pays off. A year after Epic opened, I'm still spending more money on Steam than on Epic. Steam is simply too big, too popular, has too many games, etc. Gamers go where the games are.

I checked Epic's client and wasn't impressed. Not sure how they would be able to compete with Steam, they have no USP, apart from giving away games. And Steam's client is better.

STAR WARS™ Battlefront™ II: Celebration Edition has EA origin,, to play, should i download it.

Origin is required in order to play Battlefront II because while it does have a campaign aspect, it's mainly geared towards multiplayer MMO and COOP gameplay. Origin is what EA uses to control access and updates to those types of games.

As to whether you should download it, that's completely up to you.

I haven't played Alien Invasion, but I've read good things about it. I didn't know you played survival horror games with weapons where you can get killed. I hope you checked to make sure you have a stand alone video card in your computer. Although the video requirements aren't very high, it won't play with integrated graphics.

Yes, Epic gives away a new free game every week. You do need to download their launcher but they do have some good giveaways .
