I third that!

Apparently we're all waiting for someone to take the plunge first.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I'm going to be honest with you. I don't know which is "Daylight Saving Time" but I have never seen the purpose of changing the clock, either back or ahead. When I worked it was ALWAYS dark when I got up, year round and you end up needing the lights on in either the morning or the night, whichever way the time is set. It doesn't save electricity in my book!

I agree with just leave it alone! Whatever it is, it is! This clock changing and adjusting to a big jump is ridiculous.

I was reading something today about how time as we observe it doesn't really exist. It is a modern human construct which is necessary in our lives today. But long ago, humans existed and functioned based on the seasonal and diurnal cycles.

I agree about this Time changing, leave it alone or if they can't come to their senses can't they at least meet Halfway and only change it to a Half Hour, this way it would be a bit less stressful.

March 15... time to start my tomato seeds! Got 6 flats of them started today. My flat of pepper seeds has been up for about 2 weeks now. Will move them down under the grow lights in the basement shortly. Itching for gardening season!

Back to winter here for us. We have a few inches of sleet and snow on the ground. Blech!! Hoping for quick meltage sand to see the sun again. It's so gray and gloomy out.

Have a happy day all!

Woke up Sunday and was shocked that it was 6:40, about an hour later than usual. Then I remembered about the time change. lol I remember a few (maybe more?) years ago when the dates for the time change were set for a month later (Nov instead of Oct) and earlier (Marsh instead of April). Seems to me that was due to parents pushing to have daylight savings time extended to protect children when traveling to and from school. After how many decades of Oct and April, they got it changed. I don't remember if student safety was the original reason for the time change.

BET, at one point in my life, despite 10 years of foot surgeries, I continued going to night classes, space boot and all; as well as dealing with my husband's health and his Mom in independent living. I think I'm just worn out. DIvorce and retirement are helping me restore my energy. Keep on kicking; just be careful where you kick snicker

Got my 2nd vaccine today. Glad that's done. Next is tax [blip] and overdue doc appts. Dog goes to neurologist next week. He's fine; some days better than me woozy

I had a very lazy morning. Coffee in the living room, watching the Bald Eagles fly past the window.

We have several breeding pairs in our neighbourhood right now, plus a few juveniles from last year's hatch. There must be a carcass on the beach because they're all circling and landing somewhere just around the corner.

The juveniles are very funny to watch. They're still utterly gormless at this point, not quite adult and not sure of themselves yet. In spite of their size, they seem to be terrified of the gulls, which chase them all over the place.

We've also had some vultures show up recently, and I saw a goldfinch yesterday, so the migration has started.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
