Bagels come in cinnamon crunch? Is this really a thing? I've been missing out!

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I had never heard of it either hagatha until soot kept grabbing one. Apparently they are available at Panera Bread which I've never been to.

So, we saw our first humpback of the season, a big one, moving south about 150 yards offshore. I guess the mothers with babies will be along soon. Now, if only that darned wind would go away.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good morning, well my days have gotten busier. My farrier said to stall our horses, one is Insulin Resistant and his crest is really hard. The farrier is afraid of founder. Rosie the other is slightly but does not like not being near 8Ball. So they are stalled except for 5am to 10 am for a week or so. They if his neck is better I can let them out at night... So I am up early letting them out and it seems constantly mucking out their stalls! They are not happy campers. That plus the pollen count..... what can I say..... perhaps 2 donuts are in order.. woozy

Oh, Winfrey, I have been there and done that with one of my mares! Had to dry lot her. That is something you will have to watch for the rest of his life... founder is SO awful and hard to deal with. And if that coffin bone turns, they have to be put down. Happened to me. Good luck with yours - especially this time of the year, the grass can be dangerous.

It's not raining for a change here and my sister went back to Iowa. So, I'm heading out to plant my pepper plants and finish doing a few big pots. Then I just shudder to look at all the weeds just waiting for me!

Ana, that sounds awful - hope it's nothing serious.

Once again, weeds are my life!

Sorry I missed your posts Winfrey and soot! Looks like it took awhile for me actually hit submit from the time I started. lol

Winfrey, I'm so sorry about your babies! I'm not very educated in horse diseases but I am so sorry to hear and hope it can be made manageable if not curable. hearts

soot, hope your chores and projects go smoothly!

Drac, hope you can get all your planting in! We are so very dry and hot here. It hit 87 yesterday and will hit 90 today.

Off to run Nugget before the heat hits!

oldbroad, I agree with you! I in a suburb northwest of Chicago, and got my AC started. It's not the heat as much as the humidity that insists on coming with it. yes slapforehead Temps in 80s in May is early. Hope it's not a sign of a hot, hot summer. But I'll take that over ice and snow any day.

Mostly trying to get laundry done today. Boot wore me out so much, I just got bare necessities done.

have a great one wave2

Winfrey, so sorry your babies are not doing as well as we'd like.

Ana, hope your eye is soon better

It's been hot here. No surprise. Humidity is climbing but not in full force yet. Monday is supposed to be 98. It is safe to say my AC will be running, prayerfully.

98 degrees! I could not stand that. I do love living on the coast. We get a LOT of rain and gray, gloomy days and wind, but it never gets very hot. I'm originally from Toronto, so I do know what hot and humid feels like. Years ago I told my mother I would would only ever visit her in October, the only month in Southern Ontario that is remotely bearable. Spring (which is May) has bugs, bugs and more bugs, summer is deathly hot and horribly humid, October is lovely, and November through April are bitterly cold and horribly wet and mucky and dirty at the same time.

Winfrey, I do hope your equine babies get better.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Yikes, Connie! I think we've got one day that will push 90° but mostly in the mid-eighties. For us out here in the country, that's not enough for the AC because the nights are still quite cool. We're working outside most of the time, so don't spend a lot of time in the house anyway.
