Ah. So I really CAN have a vat of dark roast! Plenty for everyone.

A National Geographic cruise vessel just went past, going north. I guess they've resumed their tours, which are part cruise, part education. I'd love to go on one. More of the larger yachts are appearing, too. This town could really use a good tourist season. We lost a few businesses last year, though the community did pull through for a couple of local coffee shop/restaurants.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good evening everyone. I just thought I would share a picture of my horses in their stalls. They are finally getting to like the idea. They are waiting for me to let them out into the front part of the barn to eat their grain and munch on some more hay. (yes they have hay and water in their stalls..)

Connie, I'm always curious. When you say Netflix with a friend, what kind of shows do you watch on Netflix?

We like science fiction, light comedy, some romantic, and shows like Ozark and Haven. We mostly watch series. We are also watching The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu, and The Good Witch on Hallmark. I guess you might say anything that strikes our fancy. smile

Excellent series... I love Ozark! If you ever find Longmire, that one is really good too.

I've had Ozark on my watch list for a while. Maybe it's time to have a look at it.

Over the last year I've watched some pretty wonderful streaming TV. My favourites were Justified and Dark, followed closely by Sons of Anarchy.

Connie, if you like science fiction, Dark is fantastic, but it is very, very dark. You have to watch it in the original German with English subtitles as the dubbed English ruins the acting.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Thanks for the goodies, connie and soot! I'll definitely have some of the Italian roast coffee. I have to go work on computers for two people today. When I get home, it's back to the weed pulling. I'm making great progress! Hubby is working on getting the pool open before the grandkids from Colorado get here next weekend.

He, he! I've mucked more stalls at Longmeadow over the 11 years I've worked there than I care to remember! I'll just leave it to you!

Mucking out stalls sounds like a lot of very smelly work! And here I am complaining about the cat's litter box. lol

In my very long ago teenage years, I was able to get a free riding lesson on a Saturday morning if I volunteered for some "mucking out" during the week.

Oh, the thrill of it all !! lol

I also remember a long long time ago.....I was taking a horse husbandry lesson, one day it was mucking out the stall.
There were about ten of us, all sent to different stalls to do our first ever "muck out" and then put fresh bedding down, on finishing this task we were to meet at the stable office, on arriving there, last, I was so embarrassed, there was everyone else, neat as new pins, me, I was cover in bits of hay from head to foot. I still don't know how everyone else stay so clean????

We have had a beautiful day in AL...in the 90's but with humidity still in rare-for-Al comfortable levels. i had a great run in the hills, lots of family time via the phone, and a little time to sit under a tree and read. Hope you all have had a wonderful day
