Cold here, and rainy. Plus, a certain four-legged person scratched on my bedroom door at 3 am so I'm utterly zombified today. Now she's sound asleep on her heating pad while I stagger around the kitchen making coffee.
On the other hand, restaurants are open again and we can travel within our Health Region, which for us is Vancouver Island, so I can visit my relatives in Victoria soon.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

POURED rain here today, so all outside activities were off. The weeds will still await me! I did get my order of The Chief's Bloody Mary mix from Waddy's Bar and Grill in Hudson, South Dakota! Voted the best bloody in South Dakota! We get some every time we're visiting in my home town. But I was needing a Waddy's Bloody Mary and they just started offering on-line ordering. Enjoying a Waddy's Bloody right now!
Once again, weeds are my life!

Raining here, too. Miserable. I went out for a coffee and since the only seating is still the outdoors area I ended up sitting in my car listening to music. I must say, Spotify's recommendations for me are becoming remarkably canny and on-target. Found some cool new music while I sat there. Actually new old music. Stuff I missed back in the day.

The song that really stood out for me is "Soon," by Yes. I hadn't heard that before, or I heard it back in the day and rejected it for being too wistful and dreamy. I don't necessary like all of their music but some of it, such as Owner of the Lonely Heart and Your Move/Seen All Good People, is on my current main playlist of faves.
Also rediscovered Agnes Obel's "Familiar," which I remember from the series Dark. Haunting song for a haunting series.
I was listening to my Nocturnes and Sonatas playlist the other day and Spotify sent me off on a recommendations playlist with some lovely stuff, notably Max Richter's "On the Nature of Daylight."
Kind of a nice change of pace from my usual Rock/Blues/Big Band and older Jazz.

This makes me want to go listen to some Yes. I wasn't a huge fan back then, but like you, really like some of their music. Spotify sounds like a very good investment for you right now - especially with with so much going on!

I love Spotify. I have thousands of music CD's and DVD's that I keep intending to digitize, but then it's all on Spotify already., except for specific recordings of classical music.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I ripped all our CD's to digital files and then transferred to a small home server. Now I can listen to all our old music anywhere. I am now able to get rid of all those hundreds of CDs... but HAVE I? Nope!

It's nice here, too. Did my bike ride and we're looking at getting out in the boat once the tide comes in, though we've been having extremely low tides for the last few weeks -- we have to have 5-6 feet of water in the river to get out, and that may not be until 5 pm today. Still, it's enough time for a quick spin to look for humpbacks.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
