will check for that little circle next time I play. It's not a circle. It's supposed to be a graphic representation of a floppy disc. It looks a lot like this, but it is white on black instead of black on white as in that picture. When it occurs, it seems to always happen following a scene change, like going from outside the boarding house to inside the house, or going from outside the boarding house to the cable car area. During those scene changes there is always a "Loading..." icon displayed in the lower right corner of the screen. If the save occurs, the disc icon is displayed immediately following the "Loading..." icon in the same screen location.
