Finally got Nostrodamus to work on my old W7 computer, but have encountered a problem - very early on.

I find that when I try to put the water that I have collected from the well into the cooking pot, it tells me that the "cooking pot is empty", and I don't seem to be able to get the water into the pot. I have the water on the screen but seem to be unable to get it into the pot.

Hi Peter,

I assume you have checked out the walkthrough here?

I can also point you to a video walkthrough, if needed.

It has been way too long since I played this game for me to remember details but just make sure you are in the right room and at the right pot. It seems to me there were some confusing things in there. Other than that, maybe a video walkthrough, as Marian mentioned, would show you better.

Hi Marian,

I think I need a video W/T, thank you.

I have been tearing out what little hair I have left, trying to find out what I have done wrong so I would be most grateful.

Found my problem, It was the wrong pot, exactly as Old Broad suggested.

Shamefacedly

I shouldn't laugh, Peter, but I'm ashamed to say I did - when I remembered doing JUST such a thing!! Happy gaming.

Gardens put to bed for the winter. Time for some gaming!
