It's a beautiful sunny day. My friend and I are going for a nice long walk in the neighbourhood. We're heading into some very cold weather (for us) starting tomorrow.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I was so lazy today, I couldn't even muster up the will to go to town to get a few groceries! Of course, the wind and very cold temps might have had something to do with it too!

Gardens put to bed for the winter. Time for some gaming!

Gerry, COVID and the flu are rampant here too. Hubby and I have all 5 COVID vaccinations, so hope if we do get it, it will be mild. We have too many pre-existing conditions to take any chances. One of my best friends now has Long COVID and it is something I wouldn't wish on anyone.

And, that dark roast will be the perfect thing to start the day with!

I'm going to need to go in town and do some stocking up tomorrow. We are expecting absolutely dreadful weather for this part of the country later this week. Blizzard conditions, a lot of snow and temperatures dipping down to 0°F. Out here in the country, I won't be going anywhere!

I've heard that you never forget a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert!

Well, we had exactly a half hour of snow, as predicted the other day. It has hung around cause it it's now very cold outside. We had a lot of rain the last week, if that had been snow, it'd been close to a blizzard. Warmer weather is nice but it doesn't kill the germs.

I decided to not take anymore shots after the booster. Believe it caused my vertigo, which I still have a little bit of. Take a lot of immunity supplements which seem to help. When I had a virus a couple of months ago, I increased to dose. Never coughed so hard in my life. Tool an at home covid test which was negative. I was concerned about pneumonia, so I went to nearby emergency clinic. Got there about 11:15 am and was told there was up to a 2 hr wait. Folks had been lined up outside before it opened at 8 am and were just then leaving. Decided I wasn't that sick. Went home and started turning my bathroom into a sauna and that helped lot. Took about 6 weeks before I felt myself again; just feeling run down and tired, which I understand is typical. Glad that's over slapforehead

You might want to think about a humidifier for your bedroom. Or is that something you can't do with the C-pap?

Good Monday Morning everyone! wave12 Another day for double dark roast coffee, tea and hot chocolate too.

Draclvr, hubby and I also have had all the Covid vaccinations and Flu shot . We still wear masks in public and try and avoid crowds by shopping early. Hubby is 80 and I'm close behind so we continue to be cautious!

Butterflybabe I watched the weather this morning and that is a big storm coming across the USA for Christmas! Lots of snow for some and rain for us! eek12

Hope you all have a good Monday! santa

Wow. It's cold here (for us). I turned my heat pump down to 65 degrees last night to stop it from comin on in the night (the pump wakes me up) and it was on at 6 am. We're seeing snowflakes too.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
