Hi, oldbroad!
I haven't finished yet, but I don't recognize where you are in the game so I probably haven't gotten that far yet. My biggest complaint is that there is no "Skip" button for the puzzles and some of them can't be reset, so the Guide is of no help.. Assuming it's not a glitch, have you checked YouTube for a video walkthru? That helped me out when I was stuck on the 3-part puzzle where you have to pull the arms from the center to different lengths. I was stuck on the second one so I checked the Guide, and the solutions for Puzzles 1 and 2 were exactly the same and I had to start over again. When I came to that point, I just followed the walkthru and made it to the next location.
This game had so much potential, but the Quality Control leaves a lot to be desired and you can't skip puzzles.

Well, I took your advice Marian, and looked at that YouTube video. It didn't show me anything I hadn't tried but I did try the game again and this time I managed to get SOME of the squares to move but cannot get the ones I need to move, to move. Hopefully, when I go back in the game after posting this, they will move!
Susan, this is on the door with the teeter-totter. I think it is towards the end of the first chapter. I don't recall what puzzle you are talking about with the pulling of arms or the broken mirror puzzle that you and Tally Ho mentioned so I figured you were past this one already. As you say, this game can use a "skip" button for some of the puzzles that are fidgety, or at least a "reset" button to try a different way if the puzzle allows (like this slider puzzle).
Off to try again. Fingers crossed!
