Hi, oldbroad!

I haven't finished yet, but I don't recognize where you are in the game so I probably haven't gotten that far yet. My biggest complaint is that there is no "Skip" button for the puzzles and some of them can't be reset, so the Guide is of no help.. Assuming it's not a glitch, have you checked YouTube for a video walkthru? That helped me out when I was stuck on the 3-part puzzle where you have to pull the arms from the center to different lengths. I was stuck on the second one so I checked the Guide, and the solutions for Puzzles 1 and 2 were exactly the same and I had to start over again. When I came to that point, I just followed the walkthru and made it to the next location.

This game had so much potential, but the Quality Control leaves a lot to be desired and you can't skip puzzles.

Susan

Well, I took your advice Marian, and looked at that YouTube video. It didn't show me anything I hadn't tried but I did try the game again and this time I managed to get SOME of the squares to move but cannot get the ones I need to move, to move. Hopefully, when I go back in the game after posting this, they will move!

Susan, this is on the door with the teeter-totter. I think it is towards the end of the first chapter. I don't recall what puzzle you are talking about with the pulling of arms or the broken mirror puzzle that you and Tally Ho mentioned so I figured you were past this one already. As you say, this game can use a "skip" button for some of the puzzles that are fidgety, or at least a "reset" button to try a different way if the puzzle allows (like this slider puzzle).

Off to try again. Fingers crossed!

The puzzle is reset when I go back into the game so I tried the steps as in the video. (123Pazu seems to be playing Version 1.1; the Big Fish version is 1.8. - just fyi.) None of the squares on the left side of the slider will move and I need to get to one of those. I have been in and out of the game several times now, followed 123Pazu's steps and tried my own. Not working!

How frustrating.

If all else fails, you can always write to Big Fish and tell them that the game is too glitchy and that you can't continue. They would probably issue you the cost of the game in points.

No, I bought the game knowing it was glitchy but I was being hopeful. This is the one I bought at 70% off and for this reason, so if I can't finish it, I haven't lost too much. I will keep trying and if I cannot get past this I will probably start the game over one time to see if that helps.

That all sounds good, ob. And now I remember that you got the game at 70% off, even better!

Still wouldn't work today so I restarted the game and got through that part with no problem today!

Well, that is really good news. I wonder why it went so smoothly this time - did you do anything leading up to that part in a diferent order, or did you just get lucky?

I have finished the main game with no additional problems. Yay!

Tally Ho, now that I've experienced that part of the game, I cannot see how doing anything differently would have helped you. Thankfully, I didn't have a problem there because that would have been a lot of game to replay.

This really is a different type of game and I totally recommend playing it if you can deal with the possible glitch(s) you may run into. I was lucky with just the one and it wasn't too terribly far into the game. I'll come back again after I play the bonus chapter just to finish this off.

Not much to say about the extra little bit. It's very short.
