Hi Guys

I downloaded this from GOG as I played it when it was first released and really enjoyed it, so I thought I would like to play it again, the issue I have is that the game keeps crashing back to desktop. I have contacted GOG support and logged the game as a but and it keeps crashing bug I have not had any response.

My question is has anyone else downloaded this game and had problems with it and/or did you get a response.

I have also tried the compatibily option which seems to work for about 20 minutes at most and then crashes normally when I am speaking to one of the charaters in the game.

Any help would be gratefully recieved

Cheers
SAFC

Have you tried to "run as administrator?" Does the game list "approved" operating systems? Is yours on the list?

I have the game from GOG but have not yet downloaded it.

Have you by any chance checked the GOG forum for the game? I find that often when I have a problem with a GOG game that there are troubleshooting suggestions (and possible solutions) posted there by other players.

The GOG page says it supports Windows 7/8/10/11.

And for the record, I have never had trouble getting a response from technical support on GOG and am always a bit surprised when someone else says that they haven't received a reply from them.

I had to wait 5 days to hear back from them about the Galaxy update nag that wouldn't work. I did get the "we received your request" email, but nothing after that for several days.

Hi Guys

Just checked the GOG forum (Cheers Marian) and it looks like its a known issue, most suggestions are regular saves to complete the game so I will try that. No other solutions given unfortunatley

Cheers

Thanks for letting us know, safc. Sorry there isn't a better solution. It's a good game, though, so hopefully this will work for you and be worth your while.
