Okay, so I'm trying to get in touch with Razer Support. Should be easy, right? Aren't these guy known for their great product Support?

Nope.

I've been trying to navigate their site and I have literally been sent in a circle several times. I actually have an account and a user name, but there is nowhere for me to sign in. All of the so-called Support pages get me nowhere. There is no chat function. Nothing gets me anywhere but a few videos and FAQs. No actual support. Can't get to the Community Forums because I can't sign in.

I was thinking about getting the newest and greatest laptop from these guys, but if I can't even get to their Support page I think I'll pass.

Anyone have any ideas?

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

So I just did a search for Razer Support and got this page. I had to drill down to select a specific model which I don't know what yours is. But I got to a page where it seemed it would take me to an actual support ticket... not sure because I couldn't go any further.

Thanks for checking that.

In the meantime, I remembered that issue with Synapse, and lo and behold, when I uninstalled it the lagging completely stopped. Something is very wrong with that software. That will be my Support question.

From what I found earlier, this is a known problem with the Synapse drivers. Good luck!

I'd sure be rethinking a purchase of another Razer product too...

On an Internet search I found threads on the Razer forums where people recommend installing Synapse when it's needed and then uninstalling it when it's not. Basically, that's what I've been doing. It's a real shame because when this laptop is running well it's really a dream machine.

Yup, exactly what I've found. Lots of calls for them to fix it, but it doesn't seem to happen. Strange how it doesn't affect my computer.

Hi, just saw this, ya they are not the easiest to get ahold of. I have a question. Are you sure you’re running the Nvidia card and not the intel internal ? When I googled. I found phone numbers. But you are not in the US are you? This is how I run mine: Always Use Nvidia Video
Open the "Nvidia Control Panel."
Click "3D Settings" > "Manage 3D Settings."
Click the "Program Settings" tab.
On the "Global Settings tab," locate and select the "Preferred graphics processor" option. From the list, select "High-performance Nvidia Processor."
Click Apply.

That's a good point, Winfrey. Most high end gaming laptops are set to run the Nvidia card by default, but maybe this one got changed?
