I am playing Sherlock Holmes vs Jack The Ripper, I am having trouble drawing the yellow circle on map puzzle not sure where to start it ,

help please Help

Thank you Draclvr, sadly no help with the walkthrough. when I put the yellow circle in and it looks right can not move to to the next step. just need the starting point for the yellow circle.

I remember reading that this puzzle is a bit fiddly.

There are some saved games here and here that should help get you through.

I think i remember that this problem is caused by the picture being stretched to fill a wide screen monitor, which causes the center of the circle to be offset from where you think it's supposed to be. I'm not sure, but changing the display to a 4x3 picture might make it work correctly.

i remember having trouble with this too, but, I read the discussion on Steam about doing it and everyone said to make the circles a little wider. so, I went more to the outside of what I thought it should be and it finally clicked in. I hope that will work for you. Otherwise, you might have to try a saved game.

There's a picture that shows how far that you have to extend it past the target spots in the Steam Screenshots section for the game. There's a lot of screenshots and you have to keep scrolling down for a while because it's near the bottom.

Some walkthroughs show the yellow ellipse ending at the two murder scenes, but on a widescreen monitor you have to extend the ellipse past the murder scenes as the screenshot shows.
