Well, I downloaded the first Brink of Consiousness game. Maybe I will fit it in somewhere.

I finished Ghost Encounters last night. It is worth playing, even with the issues I had. At one point when I thought the game wasn't working right I looked at a walkthrough (actually two times) but it was just *user error*. However, there was an entry made into my journal about a librarian and I had not yet gotten to that point. Also, some items were picky about where you clicked on them and in one HO scene I could not get the item to cooperate with me at all, but thankfully, using the hint button loosened it up for me. The walkthrough was not entirely helpful either in soothing my worry about the game not working right as it told me that I could trigger a HO scene by clicking the bottom of a bed. Nope! Not at that time anyway. Later after doing some other stuff it did work, but I'm pretty sure those other things were not mentioned in the walkthrough to do first.

Tonight I am going to start Frankenstein: Master of Death.

I will definitely try Ghost Encounters.

I played Frankenstein: Master of Death a good number of years ago. I don't remember much about it now except that I enjoyed it and thought it was worth playing. JetDogs Studios made some nice HOPAs.

Wow, that is a whole lot of match-3 levels!

I don't remember the slider puzzle but I am sure that I must have skipped it.

I hope you enjoy Lost Lands. I will be starting a HOPA today but haven't decided yet what it will be. smile

I finished "Brink of Consciousness : Dorian Gray Syndrome (CE)" several days ago and enjoyed it very much bravo
But, as I played, I gradually realised I HAD played it before, very many years ago, so I've probably played the other in the series " The Lonely Hearts Murders (CE)" also !!
However, I enjoyed the Dorian Gray one so much I'm going to start the Lonely Hearts one this week and play IT again, anyway laugh

[I've mostly been playing iPad games for the last few days.]

Sounds good, Mad! My played games pretty much all seem like new to me when I play them again. smile

I decided to play Maze: Nightmare Realm CE. I have played all of the other games in the series but hadn't gotten around to this one yet.

I haven't started the Maze series yet.

I just finished the main game of Lost Lands: Ice Spell. I think I liked it better than some of the other Lost Lands games BUT not all of the puzzles agreed with me and I skipped a few of them. I'm getting really good at using that "skip" button! grin At the end of the game though, I thought I caught a glitch that wouldn't allow me to finish the game or play the bonus chapter. When I tried to go back to the museum I was unable to as it told me I had to return the frost horn to Maaron but I could not take the frost horn after making the fire horn. I took a look at Arglefumph's video walkthrough (the guide was not helpful here) and saw that he used the map to return to the museum. The map got me there. I almost never use maps so I didn't even think to try it. duh

I too almost never use maps. Good that you watched the Arglefumph video as a way around that problem. I haven't encountered that issue as yet in any Lost Lands game, so good to be aware.

I finished "Brink of Consciousness: The Lonely Hearts Murders [CE]" yesterday and quite enjoyed it - but definitely preferred the Dorian Gray one.

Now I've started "Twilight Phenomena : The Lodgers of House 13 [CE]".
[This is a pretty old one, so I've probably played THIS one before TOO, but, as with other oldies, I haven't "remembered" any of it so far !! lol]

Twilight Phenomena is a good one, Mad. It is adventure lite too, and no hidden object scenes. A replay of that one is something that would interest me. smile

I have the Twilight Phenomena series installed on my Win 7 but haven't played any of them yet.

I finished Lost Lands: Ice Spell except for the bonus games. I'm still working on those (the ones I unlocked anyway). I know I've mentioned this before but I really don't like a game that doesn't unlock all the bonus content if you don't find all of the collectibles (or at least allow you to go back to look for them). I paid extra for bonus content and should get it one way or the other. Anyway...

I started Night Mysteries: The Amphora Prisoner yesterday and am enjoying it. It's a bit different. I think it is pretty short too which is okay. Getting more games played that way! laugh

I am pretty sure that I don't have Night Mysteries. Will check to make sure.

I am not thrilled with those games that don't unlock all the bonus content without having found all the collectibles, with your only getting one try to do so. I suppose if you are someone who replays all your games, though, it might give some people another incentive to play them again. Overall, though, I agree that we should not get locked out of anything.

I finished the game last night. I skipped one puzzle that was frustrating me and then I tried it again after finishing the game but still got frustrated with it. I possibly could get it if I would focus but I won't. I also ended up using the hint button a few times. There are some puzzles that don't agree with me, holding the mouse button down and pulling way right or left but I did manage them. The one I skipped was turning all the water pipes off. All in all though, I enjoyed the game!' I played it in Win 7.

I haven't decided yet what is next.

I finished my Maze game (I always enjoy Mad Head games) and just installed Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily.

I started Mystery Case Files: The Harbinger tonight. I haven't played too far in yet but it seems to be pretty good so far.

I remember liking Harbinger.

I finished Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily. It was a nice game with puzzles most of which were not difficult.

Now I am starting Paranormal Files: The Hook Man's Legend. Started it years ago and then abandoned it for reasons now escape me. Enjoying it so far.
