Did you start at the very beginning (before Barnabas entered)? I did. Unfortunately, now the movies aren't showing up on there for me. I knew I should have bookmarked them or something. It was funny seeing the camera men getting caught in some of the scenes.

I would love to find the movie The Girl in Blue (aka U-Turn) with David Selby in it, but have not been able to. I have bookmarked Up the Sandbox though which has David Selby and Barbra Streisand in it. I read that David Henesy lives in Panama.

Just ran across this!

THE SANDMAN’ Season 2 release schedule:
Volume 1 - July 3, 2025 (6 episodes)
Volume 2 - July 24, 2025 (5 episodes)

Oldbroad, Dark Shadows is always worth watching from the very beginning before Barnabas arrives. And all the episode when there is a fly landing on his face!

It's spring. My life is weeds.

I agree Draclvr about both points. For some reason though they act like the show only started when Barnabas appeared. Season 1 starts with Episode 210. I guess that's when people found it more interesting but I liked "The Beginning". He wasn't the only one bothered by a fly. I don't know how they did it. laugh

When I watched it on Freevee, I could start with the later episode or the originals. I liked the actual beginning too. I think Elizabeth has a few scenes with a fly too. There were several scenes with equipment in them too! It was a very low rent show in the beginning.

Tubi has ALL of them also, Drac. I've never heard of Freevee - had to look it up.

As I watch Fringe I remember how very entertaining John Noble is. The show would have stood on its own merits without him, but his performance elevates the show from good to very good.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

We have been gently enjoying the latest season of Grace (detective series set in Brighton) with John Simm, and on the strength of that we have gone back to look at Life on Mars, one of his earlier roles, which I do not recall seeing when it was originally shown: great stuff in a genre probably somewhat before its time as mainstream entertainment, and great fun to watch now! thumbsup

Just watched Dracula from 1974 with Jack Palance as Drac. I watched it on Tubi but I've seen it before as I have it on disc as part of "The Dan Curtis Macabre Collection".

Today I watched The Tale of Sweeney Todd from 1997. Probably shouldn't have been eating while I watched it. wink

Loving Domina and Mobland right now.

Watching the Dresden Files with Paul Blackthorne ... good TV series. But first to admit the books are so much better as they usually are

Thanks for the info Draclvr. I really enjoyed season one of The Sandman.

I'm about halfway through Season 2 of Fringe, and just at the place where the series became long-form storytelling instead of episodic. It really is a great series. There's a huge surprise right at the end of Season1. I'm sure the fans went wild.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Just finished watching El Eternauta on Netflix. It is an Argentinian television series and while pretty standard alien invasion fare, I enjoyed it. There will be a season 2 at some point. I watched it in English because I find reading subtitles too distracting.
