Good Saturday morning! Since it started warming up, I think my little tomato plants have grown a foot!
Fixed hubby's big breakfast and now am going to kick back with a cup of WADDB. Then I'll head out to deal with weeds.
It odd to see only a few hummingbirds, but they are now nesting and raising the first bunch of baby hummers. In about 3 weeks they will be back with a vengeance!
It's spring. My life is weeds.

Good morning Gerry, Hagatha, Draclvr, Mad, OldBroad, Fogfighter, Ana and all who follow. My condolences for your loss Draclvr. Enjoying a cup of WADDB befoe I'm off for groceries. Catching up on chores and projects. We had a great time at the lake with kids and grandkids...fishing, swimming, boating and s'mores. Hitting the road tomorrow for Ohio for a visit with grandkids. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Good morning everyone.
It's pouring today, a real deluge. So much for my plans. Oh well. Maybe I'll find myself a good show to stream. There's lots on my list.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Sunday morning! Sunny and warm again today.
Enjoying my WADDB before I get started on the day. More weeding of course, but also helping hubby get the pool open. I didn't know if he was going to try this year because of the knee surgery. I have to help get the cover off which means I have to get on my knees, but as long as I take a couple of pads out there, it works.
It's spring. My life is weeds.

Good Sunday morning.
It's a lovely sunny day, so I'm going to pack up some items to return to Costco and other places, drive into Staples and drop off the courier packages, and then drive up the coast to Comox, or perhaps take a drive up Mt. Washington to see if the sub-alpine trail is open yet.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Monday morning! Uffda, supposed to be 90 today and 93 tomorrow!
Yes, Gerry, got that pool cover off without me falling in which is always a plus! He's filling it now as we have to drain the water out in the fall to be below the pump, so it doesn't freeze it up.
Got a call at 7:30 last night and had to run down and close the Ranch last night at 9:00. Only 3 to feed in one barn and Bubbles in the other one. Bubbles is a Zebu - sort of a small Brahma cow - and was in the petting zoo at the St. Louis Zoo for many year. At age 20, she was retired out to Longmeadow. Have to close for 4 days over this coming weekend too.
Welcome home, Connie! No matter how enjoyable a trip is, there is nothing like getting back home.
Lex, silly penguins are ALWAYS in season!
It's spring. My life is weeds.

Good Tuesday morning! Warm and toasty today and then more storms and rain tomorrow.
Enjoyed my WADDB and now it's time to head out to the tomatoes to do a little work. Of course, followed by weeds!
It's spring. My life is weeds.

Good Morning oldbroad, Fogfighter, Lex, soot, Draclvr, connie, hagatha and everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready! Oldbroad I can relate to internet problems...I am literally at the end of the line in the country and waiting for fiber optic cable to replace the copper connections! The phone company is no longer doing maintenance on the copper cable...only if I report a trouble! Lex many years ago my son had a school project where he had to put a song to a photo album...he used "Country Roads" by John Denver to go with the photos he took from our "country roads"...he won first place! Maybe a day to take off from walking soot.? Draclvr all the work on those tomato plants will pay off...nothing like fresh picked tomatoes! We will be having smoke from the Canadian wild fires today and an ozone alert because of the expected hot temps and humidity. Hope you all have a relaxing day! Gerry
