Soot hope they figured out what happened to your phone service...maybe a squirrel did some "wire chewing"...I had that happen once.

Hope it is not too hot and humid for you all...it's going to feel like 100+ here in a few days! Walking may be on hold!

Good Wednesday morning! It hit 90 degrees F yesterday for the first time of the year. But I still got quite a bit of weeding done. Only about 15 feet to go! My young man is coming Friday morning, so I have to be ready for him.

Scattered thunderstorms are forecast for this afternoon, but I hope they stay south of us.

Not much happening around here. The fat cat from the neighbourhood was at my door again last night, protesting the rain and asking to come in. Too funny. It's actually a very sweet cat, but I'm dissuading it for obvious reasons.

I'm off for a haircut this afternoon. Soon my hair will all be its natural colour again. What a relief not to have to get it coloured every month. In retrospect, it seems silly, but of course when I was working I was fighting ageism in my business.

I'm keeping an eye on the sky here today as we are expecting storms. It's pretty dark outside right now and I hear a little rumble going on that sounds pretty far away at the moment.

Good afternoon everyone ... whew, time to take a break and the rest of the afternoon what's left off! Phone went on the blink again this morning, the company came out really quick this morning given this was a repeat issue ... technician said he found a broke wire ... time will tell. Then it was off to pick-up meds. Mail packages and then grocery shopping. Whew...I am done for the day. We've had thunder showers every afternoon which is nice given we're in drought conditions.

Indeed the temp seems to be similraish from day to day and on some different places. But over time it definintely changes. Today almost the same as yesterday. 17 Celsius reported. Yesterday well needed rains. As often the British isles steals the rain but there are mostly plenty enough for us too.

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. Gerry, we have bingo cards with songs on them. Cindy plays the beginning of a song, if it's on your card you mark it. She does tell us the title and artist if we don't know it. As the night goes on we sing and dance to some of them. It's really a lot of fun. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

Good Thursday morning! Another thunderstorm last night, but not enough rain to stop my work outside. When I quit late yesterday, I headed for the pool! The water is still only 82 degrees which is too chilly for me, but I was so hot I didn't care! Final work today including power washing my stepping stones and the railing on the pool deck.

I wondered how that music bingo was played, Connie! Sounds fun.

Just finishing up my WADDB and headed back outside. Whew, I'll be glad when this is done.

Good morning everyone. I'm trying to muster up some energy to do some laundry but I don't know if I'll make it. I'm running out of clean pajamas, which is mostly the only clothes I wear these days .

Soot keeping busy keeps us moving...and getting chores down makes us feel good!

Good Friday afternoon to you all! I hope you each enjoy a pleasant day! Gerry, Everything seems to take longer these days but somehow the days go by quicker.

Good Friday afternoon! Busy, HOT day so far. My young man is here spreading mulch and doing a great job. He still has to dig up a bunch of landscape edgers and put down gravel screenings and reset them. Supposed to be 95 degrees F and above all week.

Ran in town to take care of my friend's kitties and water all her plants which takes about a half hour! I also like to spend some lap time with the kitties. They will be home late tomorrow night. They are more than ready to get home... tired of too many people and eating out on the ship!

Yup, Fogfighter, this is the summer solstice! Much celebrating in some places.
