Good morning all.

We are under that heat dome here also. "Feels like" temperatures 100+ degrees for a few days. It's hard to believe that my heat was still coming on just a few short weeks ago. I hope my A/C holds up. I'm scheduled for the annual maintenance (which I haven't had done since the new unit was installed a few years ago) on July 2nd.

Groceries are put away. They had chicken on sale but, of course, they didn't have any. Go figure.

We have heat warnings for the next few days and temps in the upper 90s and 100. I don't think I will get to walk much...too much humidity and air quality issues.

Good morning Fogfighter, Gerry, OldBroad and all who follow. Yes, summer is here with morning temperatures in the upper 70s. Walking with the dog is a must in the early hours before it gets too hot. Thats a normal tactic by many grocery stores OldBroad...they will have 'some' items on sale to get you in the store and those items go quick but now you're in the store. There is no heat dome here. It's cold and wet and I'm thinking about turning the fire on. It's a good day for some gaming or TV, and even better, it's too wet to mow the lawn

Good Sunday morning! It was 81 early this morning and heading for 100+ today. I've been reading that this is the first time in weather record keeping that we have had this kind of extreme heat this early. It's pretty common in July and August here.

I have a few things to do outside today, but mostly I'm catching up on laundry. Getting everything ready for the young man doing all this work out here put me behind.

The pool is feeling fabulous, but even the water there is 87 degrees F! Hubby is adding water this morning and it comes from our well, so it is nice and cold.

Hagatha, it's hard to imagine cold and wet right now!!

I too am experiencing recording heat...we have an extreme heat warning in affect thru Wednesday and temps will get over 100 tomorrow! I shan't be walking. I did get a walk in yesterday, but it was really hot...there was a breeze so that helped.

It seems like most of the USA is experiencing record breaking heat for this time of year.

Traditional Swedish summer like I remember it from my childhood days. 14 Celsius and rain. Which didn't prevent us kids from going swimming in the nearby lake. Nowadays? WADDB and indoors please.

Good Monday morning! At 6:30, it was 81 degrees, so we are getting no relief at night either. Whatever this heat dome is, it can go away any time now. It's just too early in the season for these temps and humidity!

WADDB is starting the day off nicely. Hubby got up early to finish brush hogging the pastures. The neighbor finished baling the north pasture and they got 6 big round bales. They normally don't get that much, but because it rained and rained and rain, the grass really produced.

I'm late to reply, but AG definitely turned to some Gambling semi-gaming website, and the forums are gone for good. Ivo said he sold the website a while ago, though nobody knew that. Shame.

Anyway, I also wanted to ask people here what is going on with the Google search for Gameboomers? Previously, I was able to find exact walkthroughs by typing name of the game, or even search for a exact word or wording and the google would suggest gameboomers link to me, but now I can't do that, I need to come to the main page and do it all manually.

Thanks, diego. Yeah, as more came to light, it appears the website was sold - even the moderators didn't know. Indeed, a shame.

Marian may move your post over to the Glitches forum. In the meantime, I did a search for a Nancy Drew walkthrough using Edge and the Gameboomers result was listed at the top. When I tried using Google, the GB walkthrough was listed about 6 results down.

I will leave these posts here, but for future/ongoing discussions of a technical nature, posting in the Glitches forum is the way to go.

it is expected to be 100+ degrees here today...an extreme heat warning is in affect again...I was able to take a short walk yesterday but no walk for today...way to humid...like a jungle out there already!

Hope there is some relief from this oppressive heat for some of you today!

Good Tuesday morning! We are heading towards the upper 90's again today. Forecast doesn't show any relief until Saturday. Uffda.

I have my blepharoplasty surgery tomorrow to remove all the excess skin on my upper eyelids that is hanging over my eyes. I only have 15% of my vision available in my left eye, so I can't wait to have this done. It's become a real problem when I try to read.

My youngster is coming back this afternoon to do more work with the mulch and resetting the edging pavers. I'm having him dig up a natural stone walkway and lay down gravel screenings underneath. Then I will reset the stones. I took pictures so I can remember where they go.

Bella the Bloodhound is really fading. She has lost so much weight. But she still wags her giant tail and begs for food from hubby! So yesterday I started feeding her people food with her canned dog food. She hadn't eaten anything since Saturday night. It was successful and this morning hubby made her a couple of scrambled eggs with some old frozen burger I found and mixed it in her dog food and she ate it all. Hopefully this will help her hold on for a little while longer. She still goes on her long walk-about down in the pasture every night and acts normally, so it's hard to know.

I have to do a quick clean-up around the house and then pick up a friend from the ferry terminal for her two-day visit. It's a lovely day. If I have time before I leave I'll finish mowing the lawn.

Draclvr, it sounds as though Bella is doing okay for an old dog. I always think that as long as they seem happy it's okay to prolong their lives.

I hope the blepharoplasty goes well and your eyesight improves.
