I'll take your word for it! I'm not a huge applesauce fan. I like it. I eat it once in a great while. Sometimes the texture bothers me.
I am having a little trouble following the link you posted. If I can't figure it out I'll post back. Pictures or not, I just don't understand this stuff.
Edit 1 - Okay, I did the check disk on both drives through the file explorer and no errors were found. Do I still need to do it that other way?
Edit 2 - Well, even though doing check disk through file explorer says it doesn't correct any errors and it said none were found, my computer didn't do much gurgling tonight after the check disk while I played my Nonograms game. Coincidence ? It is a little earlier in the night than some other nights when I'm playing, if that means anything.

It wouldn't hurt to do it the other way, but that's good news about just doing it through Explorer. I would let it ride and if you hear the sound and it crashes again, it won't hurt to do the deep check disk. Something is definitely amiss with your hard drive.
The applesauce from the grocery store is horrid. I can see why you wouldn't be a big fan. We use really good fresh picked apples and only cinnamon and a bit of nutmeg in it - no sugar. Along with the marinara and chili sauce I canned this summer, we will eat well this winter!

I didn't figure you had any malware problems. That's just not what it's acting like. But at least it's done! Don't use Norton, so not sure why the doesn't do the Smart Scan at startup. Seems like it would be the other way around!
