Good afternoon everyone.

The trip to CR was fine. I stopped in Courtenay for a quick shop in my favourite store and a coffee, and them moseyed up the old oceanfront highway for the rest of the trip. It was a pretty nasty day.

There were at least 100 people at the party. Loads of fun. It was a bit surreal staying in that lodge, so close to my old home. Anyway, it was a good trip.

Glad you had a good time, but I'm sure you're also glad to be home! That had to feel quite surreal.

It was nice to see some of my old friends and neighbours. Oddly, I don't miss my old house. Thought I would when i saw it.

I got a mixed reaction when I walked through the door here, though. Willow turned somersaults and did roly-polies and Dude acted like he had no idea who I was. Little jerk.

Good Monday morning. Yes, Gerry, we've done bleach, vinegar, ammonia and plain old soap and water. We've gotten as much as possible off the floor. It's just going to take time to get all those volatiles out. Hence the fans on the steps going up to the yard with the doors open!

Hagatha, I laughed when you said Dude forgot you were his human!!

I haven't had honeybees on the hummingbird feeders for two days now, so I guess I can finally clean them up and put them away!

Since we get to have our Thanksgiving dinner here on Thursday, I need to make a run in town to pick up a couple of things.

The little jerk finally relented and then I was treated to half an hour of extravagant loves. He really is the most affectionate boy once you earn his trust.

It's pouring rain today and I plan to do absolutely nothing. Not a thing. I have supplies and a couple of shows to stream and that will be my day.

Well, today marks two weeks of survival for Mr. Gobbles. This improves his chance of making it a great deal. I have a package to run down there this morning, so I'm going to go check on him.

I think Oldbroad will be sending her weather down to us on Friday. There is even an outside chance of some white stuff.

Good morning everyone. Yesterday kept me hopping from dawn to dusk. Preparations ongoing for Thanksgiving. Chores, shopping, the vet and then a road trip to pick up grandson from college who'll be visiting for a couple of days. That's great news about Mr Gobbles and Lynda! Hagatha, feel free to send that rain down here, we will use it. Hope all is well on your side of the pond Mad.

I'm so glad to hear that Mr. Gobbles is still with us. I was afraid to ask.

More rain here. I'm supposed to keep track of the water level in my pond's pump well, but the rain makes that impossible. They did replace the entire liner so I'm fairly certain it's fixed, but we'd need a few dry days to be able to tell for certain.

I'm having another nothing day today.

Happy Tuesday afternoon. It did rain some last night and it is still gloomy out. I don't know what is expected as I didn't really hear the weather this morning.

Good to know Lynda and Mr Gobbles are both improving.
