Have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled. Each time I got a "Can't create core" error. Have Pentium III at 895 mhz, 256 mg RAM, GForce FX video card. Help? Thanks.

 It must be something about your configuration, either drivers for graphics /sound or programs in the background, because the game itself is not known to cause much problems. Not giving you much help here though.

CK2 IS known to cause this problem - blank screen at launch. TAC says they are trying to resolve the problem. Everybody could help by reporting problems to TAC at their web site.
What, me worry?

The IT gurus at the County where I work have blocked this site. Can you imagine? So I have not been able to get back til now. Anyway, I downloaded the newest drivers for my GeForce FX card and now CC2 runs beautifully. A great game. Thanks for all the comments.
(I haven't had the guts to try installing Forever Worlds.)
