Floors clean, laundry done, a night off from league bowling... WADDB to start the day and I agree with Fogfighter. Perhaps a good day for a book in front of the fireplace.

More rain. I have nothing much to do today, so yes, a fire sounds great. These are the days when I really appreciate my Steam Deck; I can sit in my living room and enjoy a fire with Willow in my lap and Dude perched behind me on the back of the couch.

Our temps still haven't dipped so the rain on the snow didn't hurt anything. It helped melt a lot of it.

My stew was okay; nothing great; just a meal. I think next week, Jambalaya Pasta. Trying to decide for sure so I can prepare my list tomorrow. Of course, I have a new drama which may affect my eating. Another bad tooth apparently. I noticed it two days ago while drinking cold water. Now it is making my head hurt from eye to neck while drinking my coffee.

There is also a possum eating the cat food my brother puts out. He was caught washing up next to the empty bowl the other night when my brother shone his flashlight out there.

HI Everyone; very cold today, -9F with the wind chill of -27 or -23C with wind chill of -33 & to make it worse we have blowing snow, I'm not going to step outside the house today. Have a great day everyone.

Yesterday morning it was in the 20s and by 3 p.m. it was 74 degrees on our thermometer. Same deal today basically, and for the rest of this week. Freezing in the morning and then by 11 a.m. we have all the windows open for hours afterward. Interesting!

Good morning everyone. Did a door dash this morning to grab a cup of WADDB and bagel before heading out for an appointment this morning. Basic chores complete and enjoyed chicken salad for lunch. We started out at 44 this morning and then by the time I got back from my walk the temp had fallen to 38...forecast is for 34 degrees tonight.

Start looking for another dentist, oldbroad. If there is an abscess, that can be dangerous if it gets into your blood stream. This is why I see my dentist twice a year - there is nothing worse than a painful tooth. I just hurt for you knowing how painful this is.

Heading down to very cold tonight. Talked to my brother up in NW Iowa and it's supposed to be -24 degrees below zero up there tonight. He was getting his tractor ready to head in town this afternoon to scoop snow off the church parking lot.

Can you believe the grocery store didn't have fresh heads of Garlic?? My brother brought home a package of peeled whole garlic cloves that are already looking past their prime.

Don't know about a dentist. I'll see what happens. Might be a blessing in disguise. I didn't really want to go to my dentist because I didn't want him to see me looking the way I do these days. On the other hand, he knew all my idiosyncrasies and was great! I'm sure this happened the other day when I ate a Riesen Chocolate that was a little too hard and got stuck in my teeth. I probably loosened a filling or something. My fillings are all white so I don't really know which teeth have them.

We are at about 12 degrees F right now. Supposed to go down some more later and tomorrow.

Draclvr I don't know how to use a leaf blower...since my Bill passed away 2 years ago...I haven't attempted to try...it is a battery operated one. Fogfighter your Lucia Day sounds like fun...it certainly should brighten your day! Oldbroad I hope you get some relief from your toothache soon...you need to get it checked.
