Congrats on finishing Foolish Mortals, Mad. I picked the game up last week.

I've gotten stuck a couple of times in The Final Chapter but figured things out after taking a break. So far, so good. I have two unexplored places on my map right right now that I'm hoping may shed some light on a couple of puzzles, or at least not get me stuck again.

I am toying with the idea of playing Limbo of the Lost but haven't started it yet.

Limbo of the Lost is very weird, oldbroad, and certainly not for everybody, yet can become compelling 🫥🫥🫥

I have played the game before Mad, in 2020. I have installed this newer version on my computer so I'm thinking I should try it out. I'm just not sure I'm quite ready for a replay though. I don't know yet.

I just finished The Lost Chronicles of Zerzura, and cannot stress enough what a well-crafted game this is. I’ve just started the 7th Guest from 1993, which I’ve never played, believe it or not. This far, I enjoy the puzzles and the nostalgic feeling, but fear that I sooner or later will encounter a slider puzzle or something similar that I won’t be able to get out of.

So many older games still stand up very well, Mikael 👍

And what they may lack in the graphics deptartment is often made up for by their wonderful story lines.

But I do agree ….
Some can contain puzzles that get pretty mind bending lol

I know for sure there was one puzzle in 7th Guest that I couldn't do. I hope you enjoy the game, Mikael!

I'm sure I'll still need a walkthrough, Mad. I don't remember any control difficulties or anything.

I'm wondering if Mikael heard me cursing him out awhile ago while solving a puzzle. The resulting views were well worth it though!

I’ve come to a halt in the 7th Guest now with a particularly obscure chess puzzle. But I’m not giving up yet!

You did? I don’t remember that.

I mentioned one puzzle for sure that I was unable to do but there very well may have been more that I don't remember. Good luck with the one you are on.

I thought maybe you could hear me from here laugh. I didn't post anything. I don't want to spoil anything by mentioning the puzzle which opened up The Lookout. wink

I finished The Final Chapter a few days ago. Another enjoyable game except for one puzzle that I didn't understand. I wish that none of us (me & some others) had not questioned the title. It would have added suspense to the gaming not knowing the answer.

I am now replaying Jack Keane. Unfortunately I was stuck right at the beginning. I could remember the scene from when I played it years ago but I just couldn't figure out what to do. I needed to see how the game controls work but ended up having to look at a walkthrough which only confirmed what I thought I had to do but not how to do it. I did finally figure it out on my third attempt to play the game and am now off and running (I hope)!

I tried playing Jack Keane years ago on what I think was my Windows XP machine and found the game to be very buggy. I gave it up about a quarter of the way through it for this reason. I should try it again now (I have the GOG version).

I'm still playing Jack Kean (GOG version). Did you know that Lani Minella voices some of the characters? Unfortunately, It's not really a good thing as I keep picturing Nancy Drew. shocked

I had forgotten about that. Lani has been the voice in so many games.

That doesn't sound like fun.

I am starting Conquests of the Longbow: The Legend of Robin Hood, a game that I played years ago and enjoyed. It will be like a new game to me.

I did get through the part, Marian. It's a timed puzzle which isn't hard once you know what you need to do, but the game sort of takes control of your cursor so you can't hold the cursor still. That's the part the I don't like. Now I'm stuck again, for the moment, trying to figure out what I need to do next.

Can you believe I actually have that game you're playing? I've not played it, of course. Have fun! wave
