A new day after a short night.

We did the asinine timechange in Europe this night. Can't even coordinate with the North Americans when making a mess of the times.

I'm fairly certain the black cat is innocent here. He no doubt just came to remind me of the inevitable misfortune.

Not the cat's fault. I don't blame the messenger.

Beside the time change no accidents happend.

Today I think I'll finish gathering up stuff for donations and plan a trip up the coast for Tuesday, maybe have lunch with a friend up in Campbell River.

Then it's the couch for me, since it looks like rain and I'm a fair-weather walker.

Oldbroad, that recipe sounds so good. I was too tired to cook when I got home from the Ranch yesterday, so just ordered pizza and hubby went in town and picked it up. Like you, I never thought of hagatha's cat Willow as black! Maybe a longhaired grayish cat!

Unfortunately, I totally forgot to use sunscreen yesterday and I got a light sunburn on my face!

Dude is a long-haired brown tabby with a really cute pink nose. He really, really does not look or act like his name, which I think was more aspirational than grounded in fact.

Willow is a shiny bright-eyed black shorthair, not remotely petite. She's bigger than Dude.

My previous cat Rachel was a long haired grey and white tuxedo. That's probably where the confusion lies.

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. Joint meeting at the Eagles tonight. We will drape the charters with black tonight for Stephen and Lynda. The black drapes will stay up for a month. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

Good Monday morning. Nice warm day today - hubby is mowing the yard for the first time this year. It just looks raggedy. We mow about 3 acres and it takes about 2 1/2 hours on the small garden tractor with a belly mower.

Connie, we do the same at our American Legion Post when someone passes.

Laundry today. Might hang some clothes on the clothesline outside.

Good afternoon everyone. Yep, yep, it's time to start cutting the grass. Enjoyed a cup of emergency waddb this morning with a bagel while gaming before heading off to get groceries and other errands. We'll be off to the vet shortly to get Max's monthly check-up and shot.

Good Tuesday morning. March is definitely not going out like a lamb here! Very windy and in the mid-80's here today.

My bedroom windows are always open unless the furnace or the AC is running. I've had the ceiling fan going the last several nights. Gotta have fresh air!

A run in town for a few things is the only think on the agenda today.

Garden maintenance has started. My lawn looks beautiful and green this year -- it will be time to mow really soon as it's getting quite long. Pond maintenance has also started and soon I'll have the shrubs planted around it. It's my little oasis.

Later today I'll get my patio chair cushions out and put the outdoor carpet down. It's not warm enough to sit outside for at least another month but it will look nice through the French doors.

Not much happening otherwise. Perhaps another day of gaming.
