So I bought it, and it doesn't seem to be installed.
I got an email confirmation of the purchase and I can tell it to download, but that's all
Fiddled with it off and on all day, with no luck.

Are you trying to download it through the Game Manager or from the BF website from your Game Library?

I only download my purchased games through the Game Manager. I have never had a problem via this method, but I have heard people mention having difficulties at times trying to download their games through the Game Library.

I tried both.

I am at a loss, then. My next step would be to write to Customer Support (although I understand you probably wouldn't want to bother with that).

I took a look at Facebook's Big Fish Fans page to see if anyone else was mentioning this issue, and I saw no posts about it. I will check tomorrow, too. Believe me, if anyone was having trouble with this, they would be complaining loudly and long. It's quite a vocal group over there, for better or for worse.

Big Fish is just messed up! I've been playing a game for several days now using the shortcut on my desktop. Tonight I tried to play and the game wouldn't open. It just opened up the game manager. I had to create a different desktop shortcut to play the game. I'm getting quite sick of Big Fish honestly.

Well, I have no rational explanation - the game 'activated' today; three days later. And the jigsaw puzzle I was working on when the trial time expired was still there, waiting to be finished. The trigger must have gone around the moon and back.
