I have played this game several times and never had this problem before. I am the 3 refus' and trying to find out who has the nucleic acid. He just keeps saying the same thing and there is never the 3 rufus' at the bottom to see who has the acid. so, I looked at a walkthrough and it says " After the dialog options are exhausted, click PPM of the left and right Rufus." What is PPM? I have waited thinking maybe sooner or later they would show up on the bottom so I could see that the right one has it but it never does. I even restarted from a save to see if there was a different option to answer, but, it was the same. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? It worked before, but, I don't know what I did then. Thanks for any help!

I don't have a clue what PPM stands for. Usually I can figure stuff out like this from the context, but not this time.

Until someone comes along who has played the game, I would think there is probably a YouTube video walkthrough that could help you get through this part. Have you tried that avenue?

I'm wondering what walkthrough you are using. Have you tried the one here at GameBoomers that MaG did? I don't see it using those letters PPM at all. Apparently the acid ends up in the sewer pipes and you change Rufus's to play different parts of the game. I have played this game but do not remember details at all.

all Mag's walkthrough says " 3 Rufus' appear in the cloning chamber. Check all 3 Rufus' inventory to see who has the nucleic acid. The right Rufus has the nucleic acid." But, I don't have the option at the bottom to see all 3 rufus'. He keeps saying the same thing. I remember the last time I played it, it took a while for me to get the option of the 3 guys at the bottom but I don't know how I did it. and PPM. that is a mystery to me what they meant. that was the game pressure walkthrough that said that.

In response to Mad's Google search "In the context of Polish walkthroughs and guides for Goodbye Deponia (and many other point-and-click adventure games), PPM stands for Prawy Przycisk Myszy, which translates to Right Mouse Button."

Diving deeper, I found a Polish walkthrough that lists PPM twice. One of them includes this instruction: "Kliknij na pierwszego Rufusa po prawej, on ma kwas nukleinowy, kliknij na kwas PPM wekwipunku" translates to "Click on the first Rufus on the right—he has the nucleic acid—then right-click on the acid in your inventory."

Are you sure you did everything shown in the walkthrough prior to where you are at now, like the Hermes and Goal parts? I wish I could remember the game details better. Reading the walkthrough isn't helping me but at least I know exactly where you are now.

thanks for trying. it is so frustrating as I have played this game at least 5 times before. I will just have to go to a save after this spot. I have right clicked, left clicked, fast, slow and tried everything but the 3 guys don't show up at the bottom for me to look for the acid on the right. again, thanks.
