Good morning everyone.

It's cold this morning! It rained for some time in the night so once again I can put off the watering. This is odd weather but given that we are at Stage 4 watering restrictions (the highest level) I'm grateful for the break.

Nothing on the agenda for today.

Pretty overcast here today and the skies look like rain on the way. Might be a movie afternoon.

The mention of walnuts brings to mind one of my favourite cakes - of which I must have made hundreds over the years - a Date and Walnut cake.
It uses tea, brewed and then left to go cold.
Totally delicious !!
