Now that the Germans have gone home, I have more time and picked this game up again. However, I'm quite stuck!

I've gotten to where I am at a Gate which opens to an ocean... with the redhead, the girl and two boats. It appears that I need a steering wheel or something like that according to the video walkthroughs I've looked at. But all I have is the navigator and a ticket. No matter where I go backwards, I can't find this item. Have I messed something up??

I hope someone who has played the game will be able to help you. Meanwhile, if I see any other help for this, I will let you know.

I found this by googling, not sure if it is applicable:

The Ship Deck: If you are trying to pilot the vessel to cross between the simulation islands, the steering wheel is located directly on the main deck interface of your transport.

Drac you have to give the old blind man parchment, the ticket and the navigator to get a map. You can then travel

Thanks, Orion! I had already done that, but mixed up the shaman with the mapmaker. I finally got that sorted and was on my way. I'm gathering islands and - of course - stuck again!
