This was a very rare event and I was lucky enough, not raining, to watch the moon eclipse Jupiter. The eclipse of Jupiter started 4:20 am EST 30 degrees above the eastern horizon. It reappeared on the dark side of the moon about an hour later. Check out this video to see what the occultation looked like Mars was visible on the upper right side of the moon a little distance away from it. Mars will transit the Beehive Cluster(Messier 44) Oct 10 through the 12th. You will need optical aid to view, a telescope for that view The Beehive Cluster

This morning at 630 EST SpaceX launched a Dragon supply mission to the ISS: On Tuesday, October 13 at 6:33 a.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched Dragon’s 35th Commercial Resupply Services (CRS-35) mission to the International Space Station from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. After an approximate 52-hour flight, Dragon will autonomously dock with the orbiting laboratory on Thursday, October 15 at approximately 11:00 a.m. ET LaunchThis is the best time, one hour before sunrise, to watch a launch. I have seen many of these early morning launches each bringing different views/designs. At an altitude of 50 miles water vapors from the exhaust freeze catching the sunlight creating these amazing views. This was my view this morning. It is called the "Space Jellyfish" - WOWThis view you can see the first stage on its way back to the Cape - 1st StageViews from around Florida - if you click on a pic give time for each to load This was the most incredible launch ever says many. It was the best one I have seen
