Good Friday morning. Brrrr....!! Not cold enough to turn on the furnace, but a high of 55, sunny and very windy. Makes for a morning made for WADDB! Yesterday was hot and muggy - what a weather change!
Just a run over to the neighboring town for some routine bloodwork today. Still need to get a shingles shot - maybe next week. Already have flu and COVID done for this year.

Good morning. A heavy fog rolled on from the water yesterday and it's still here. I was outside last night listening to the sea lions and it was quite eerie in the dark with the visibility so fogged.
Off to Pilates this morning.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Morning Everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready. Oldbroad sorry you had to go thru the stress of dealing with your brother's partner after losing your brother. Hopefully settling his accounts will go smoothly. Wishing everyone a relaxing weekend and hopefully some sunshine to warm the day! Gerry

Good Saturday morning. A little frost on the pumpkin this morning. Already on my 2nd cup of WADDB.
Oldbroad, I think it was pretty cruel of your brother's partner to wait a year and a half to provide you with any information about your brother's death. Since all three of you are on his accounts, all three of you will probably have to sign some paperwork to get the money out. The bank should provide you with everything you need. It's hard enough dealing with a death without all the extra BS. My DIL is now dealing with getting the accident report from the highway patrol so she can deal with the insurance fallout from the accident that killed her mom.
Time to tackle my floors again. How can 2 people and 1 cat get them so dirty!

Good morning all.
Oldbroad, that's awful. Was the partner the executor of the will? What a nasty thing to do.
It was raining overnight and quite nippy this morning. Not much to do today. The stand came for my computer, so I'll put that together, and then set up my wireless headphones.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I remember very well all the awful "goings on" that you had to endure after your Brother passed away, oldbroad But whether you actually want the money or not, it is surely preferential for you to pursue your rightful claim to it - if only to prevent the nefarious partner even attempting to cheat you out of it ??

Good Sunday morning. Warming back up to the 70's this week with sunshine every day. Look like some glorious fall weather ahead.
It's time to start putting the gardens to bed. Going to go pick all the remaining peppers and small tomatoes once it warms up a bit. The tomatoes are going to take awhile - the vines got HUGE this year! Some of them are 10 - 12 feet long! We'll have to cut them off the outside of the cages before we can pull those up.
Connie, what is ASL?

Good morning all.
It's a beautiful Fall day and my last chance to give the lawn one last mow before it gets too cold -- it was 8 degrees last night.
Turns out the heat pump is okay. Not sure why the emergency heat came on as well the other morning, but it's not doing it now.
Annnndddd....the pond has emptied out again, after months of being fine. I think my landscapers must have jostled something. this week when they worked around the pond.
EDIT: Found the leak, fixed it. My landscapers had stepped on the edge and squashed the liner and rocks down. Water was literally pouring out.

Good Monday morning. Chilly and sunny - a beautiful fall day ahead.
I know you mentioned the ASL classes before and it completely left my brain, Connie! I now remember commenting that my DIL used ASL with my first granddaughter when she was a baby! Sometimes I think I'm losing my marbles!
Going to try something called Fire Salt today. Had to figure out what to do with a big bunch of jalapenos! You grind them up in a food processor with garlic cloves and add coarse salt. Then you spread out on a tray and dehydrate it. When it's dried, you grind it up into Fire Salt. Sounds interesting anyway!
