Another world saved. I just completed the game at Level 63 - in 4 years, 7 months, 19 days with a score of 5,185 and 251,044 gold.
Now back to my Jedi in KOTOR II

I just started M&M 7 after finishing M&M 6. Actually, I played Six twice and it's a LONG game.
I'm having trouble in the Harmondale Castle. There are two dead-end corridors that I'm sure must open, but I can't seem to find out how.
Any suggestions?

I'd really like to play this game. I installed it on an old laptop that runs on Win 98 with only 64 MB RAM and it worked well. Then the laptop hard drive broke. It seems like if M&M 7 ran on THAT computer, it should run on XP?????

There's a few things on this page for running the M+M games on XP. There's a reference to Mok's patch (link on that page) which is the only way I got 6 to run, and it looks like it works for 7 as well, if I'm reading this right.

Thank you all so much! I started the game over now and it's working great on my PC. Too bad I didn't save games on a floppy or something from the laptop, but it's a fun game and I'm happy to see it working so well. I THINK what fixed it was the patch. This game had stumped all the ' computer experts' in my family.

My game is going pretty well, I think. Starting over was a good thing.
I cannot figure out what the red apples are for. Anyone know? They're all over the place and are called magical, but what the heck do they do? Keep the Shamans away?
Thanks for any info...........

Hi Atheen You use the apples to add a point to the character statistics. Comes in handy often when you need so many points to qualify for becoming an expert etc. in some ability.

Thank you! I thought I'd checked on all that, but was checking experience points. I'm glad I didn't just let them all picnic on the apples between slaughters and shopping.

Well. Whatever. I was hoping for something to keep my dwarfish sorceror from fainting.
This is a fun game, tho. So far I like it better than M&M 6.

As this thread has reached the page limit, I will now close it. Please continue your discussion on the new "Might & Magic 6, 7, and/or 8?" thread that I created for you. Rusty
