Hi Smiley, if you have the first dragon, you should probably be able to do the troll tomb at level 2 or 3. Take along some extra healing & magic potions. If you can't make it, you can always try later. Barb

Well.... I dunno which level my party was at. But I've made some big progress. I'm currently working on the Alliance quest, but the problem is that I need money so I can train my party I've even cleared out the areas around Shadowspire and the Gorgons in Ravage Roaming, plus stealing the treasure there Where in the Murmurwoods do I find Cauri? How's it going for everyone else that are still playing?

Hi, Well my Necromancer/Lich and my Dragon/Wyrm have become Master in Alchemy and I tried the mixing of potions for Fire Resistence and it worked. It seems this list given above for potion combination does work for this game as well. We just finished the Water gate plane and got the Heart of the Water from there. We are now working on getting the Earth Heart and its tough going but getting there slowly. We are clearing out the place instead of using invisibility so its slower or maybe just as long. First we are looking for the Earth Teacher for Grandmaster and then we go for the Heart hehe. My Cleric has his inventory full of wands and whenever we see one in a shop we buy it fast. The only thing I can tell you Smiley is to keep clearing out any dungeon you see because they have really good chests with stuff you can use or sell. Special items also show up in these chests so whatever you can't use...sell. There is also a good amount of money in those same chests. Get someone up in Merchant so they get the highest price for selling it. Cauri has Grandmaster in that and she gets really good prices for the stuff. She will be right next to the Stone Circle so look there and make sure you have the Stone to Skin Scroll with you. Good Luck. It took me a while to find her but she is there. Its a good idea to have the Stone to Skin spell for yourselves also because the creatures there will stone you so watch out for them.

Hi, Syd...the ears are bought by a guy in Alvar so look for him there. Also wasp's tails are bought by another guy there. Don't forget to check the wagons in Dagger Wound for free stuff to sell like the fruit and Brandy found there. Another way to make money is to pick up the different ore all over the place and have people make items or armor or weapons. Still another way is to pick up stuff from the garbage piles you see all over but make sure you have cure disease potions or spell. Well we have 3 of the elemental Hearts now and just need the Fire Heart to get the key to the Red Crystal in the center of Ravenshore. We just picked up the Air one. Almost there.

Thanks nickie, I've really enjoyed playing this time using a Necromancer and learning the Dark Magic spells. I hadn't used either one before. I think I still like Might and Magic 7 just a little better, but they are all great. Kay

I agree, Kay, M&M7 is my favorite, but all the M&Ms from 6 through 9 are great. Did you play the real old ones - 3 thru 6? I haven't played them in years, but I still consider them some of my favorites. Magic, I think you should give Dark Messiah another try!
Nickie, what are you playing?
I'd like to get together a group to play the Vampires - Redemption and Bloodlines - best games ever made, IMO!

I can never decide which between 6,7, or 8 I like best! Each had something I really liked about it that the other two didn't have.
I have Blood Magic ready to go, Barb. Have you played it yet? And I still haven't played Redemption, but everyone that has played it seems to have loved it!

Hi,
I have returned Dark Messiah back to the store and will not be buying it again Barb. My computer had trouble when stuff was loading and sometimes it would load and sometimes not. I had it on easy but still had a hard time staying alive so no I won't be buying it again. I'll pass.
well my party got all of the Hearts now and have the key for the Red Crystal in the town square.

Oh, Nickie, Redemption is a WONDERFUL game! My all-time favorite, & the absolute best ending I've ever seen. Do you have it? It runs well in XP. You said Blood Magic - do you mean Bloodlines? I've played it several times. It's nice that you can play as different characters so it's a little different each time. That's too bad you couldn't play Dark Messiah, Magic. I loved it. I'm replaying Oblivion with the expansions right now, but I'm always ready to play Vampire! Barb

Well I was supposed to work yesterday buuuuuttttt I didn't My party finally got the axe back to the Minatours, I finally found the Cure Insanity and Remove Curse spells so I don't have to use potions. Found Cauri - finally. Unfortunately I had sold all my Stone to flesh scrolls (had no clue I needed them when I first got them - translation - I didn't pay attention to what I was being told ) and had to run around trying to find one. Sure wish the spell my necro had would have worked but I guess they just work on party members. Anywho - took forever to find the right statue but she's in my party and it's nice not getting ripped off by the shop keepers. I am in the Mad Necromanser's Lab going insane and getting cursed at every step I guess I now have to go back to Ravenshore to get some kind of cure for Stromlance. But first and foremost I need to get my necro GM's in Water - I am so tired of tooing and frooing -

I do have Redemption here somewhere Barb, so I'm glad to hear it runs on XP. Also hope I can rely on you for hints when I play it! Blood Magic - oh, I used the name it was developed under and sold at first. It was released in the U.K. a few months ago as "Dawn of Magic". Gogamer carries it as an import - hasn't found an NA publisher yet.

Why do you have to have Dyson Leland in your party when you're going through the Necro Lab? He's worthless as a fighter. Is he the only one that can destroy the skeletal transformer? I really want to get rid of this guy and get Cauri back.

I'm still a lonnnnng way from finishing but when I am - M&M9 is next on the list Smiley I somehow wound up with something like 200,000 gold - now I'm down to about 130,000 because I bought some real expensive spells. Found a lot of gold in Ravage Roaming - kill the gorgons and there is about six chests sitting in a valley full of gold. Also in the Barbarian Fortress there are four chests. I cleaned them out once, the area respawned and I cleaned them out again - I also found lots of gold and stuff to sell in the up right lockers in the sleeping quarters in most of the dungeons. I tend to completely wipe out any area I go in which gives me access to all the goodies. Also, I killed the dire wolves and sold their pelts, plus killed the Nagas and sold their skins. Also sold the Wyvern horns from the Wyverns I killed. Now I need to find out who buys Ogre ears because I have a bunch of them I'll be joining you for the last part of the Might & Magic series as well As for the gold, I had over 400,000 but training and improving the skills cost me a fortune. But I'm on the plus side again (around 130,000 - 200,000). As for the six chests in Ravage Roaming, I cleared them twice When it comes to the ogre ears: If you cross the bridge that's near the stables in Alvar, just take a left and go to the first house on your left Which level is your party at btw?

My party just made lvl 40. I finally made it through the Necro's Lab - had to do it twice. For some reason the game would not let me work the levers. I guess I found Eclipse - I have a big shield with runes or something on it but it's not identified. I'm going to try to see if someone in the armor shops can ID it and then take it back to where it's supposed to go. Hopefully I don't need Dyson for that because I'm dumping him as we speak and picking up Cauri so we can go shopping Finally got my Necro GM'd in Water so we can use Lloyd's Beacon. Man what a mad dash through the Plane of Water. I'm heading to get him GM'd in Fire, Air and Earth.

I have a glitch in the main quest in Oblivion, so I'll be needing something to play. Whatever anyone wants to play - M&M9, Bloodlines, Redemption - post a new note & I'll join!

Hi,
Hey Syd....the Eclipse will be Identified by the guy that asked for it (located across from the Temple in Ravenshore) and he lets you keep it but only the Cleric can use it.

I'm attempting to get into the Plane of Fire to GM my lich in fire but good night nurse I'm toast (literally) in seconds. Any hints on what spell I need to cast to get by these fire demons?

Sure, Syd - Invisibility! You can cast it before entering the portal & it should last long enough to get you to the Castle of Fire. You will have to fight the fire creatures inside the castle, but if you have a dragon or two it shouldn't be a problem. Since you have a GM in water, cast LB just inside the door. The water spell Acid Burst works well against the fire creatures. You'd think since the dragons shoot fire they wouldn't do much damage against fire monsters, but they do.

Thanks Barb - never thought of Invisibility - 'course I can't use it yet since I'm not GM in Air [sigh] I did discover that the dragon fire works. I totally forget about Acid Burst - I used one of my ice spells. My major problem is I can't exit out of the portal - I have to wait until it's my Necro's turn and then either Town Portal or Lloyd's Beacon out. Needless to say it's slow going but I finally made it to Burn's house and my Necro is now a GM in fire. Smiley I thought there was someone familar looking darting through the Planes Hope I didn't singe or freeze you

Hi,
Syd....yes you can use invisibility any time but it won't last as long. Once you have become a Grandmaster it will last for 17 hours which is plenty of time to explore the whole place in safety.
