Hello to everyone. First off I have just started playing this game and am stuck in act#1 trying to get him to pick up the grease remover from under the kitchen table to put on the washing machine door to get his ID badge. He will not pick it up saying that he does not need it right now. I cannot move forward in the game.I think I did all that was required at this point to get the grease remover. I got the paper knife from the library, got the key from the maid's room, opened the chest in the maid's room, spoke to police who told me to get my ID, went back home and talked to Java although he didn't say much, went down to basement, got rubber gloves, picked up some kind of knickknack, looked at both cans and bottle on top of washer and tried to open washing machine door but need something to clean the grease off. What step have I missed? And the 2nd thing I would like to know is if there has been a thread already started by someone else on this game (if yes where?) so that I may read there first to get any answers when stuck before posting a question on this thread.
