I was just wondering. I've noticed alot of people play the Big Fish Games like Abra Academy etc. Do people really enjoy playing those types of games. I think I might be able to make those games. I was thinking of making one called Buddy The Thief. But it wouldn't be just find the pics, after about maybe 3 or 4 rooms I would have other types of puzzles for people to do as well. Just a thought.

Hi StarLite, I really enjoy the search games especially for just casual play. Sometimes I do wish there was a little more challenge to them or maybe a little longer.
Also seems to be a lot of repitition when finding objects even though there is a lot of variety of objects.

I love the hunt & seek type games, especially when you play them 2nd time round & you have a different list of objects to find

Starlight, not all hunt and find games are created equally.

I have really enjoyed the 3 MCF games and Hidden Expedition Titanic but in some of the BigFishGames the items are really hard to see, even using the hints. I would love to see what you can create, but please keep in mind that the really successful games are the ones where after you find the object you slap yourself for not seeing them for your talents!

Have played Ravenshearst about 4 times (waiting for new adventure games) and enjoy the lock puzzles best. They really get you thinking and you get a great sense of achievement when you unlock that door. More of these please!!

Hi Starlite, I've played most of the seek & find games & my favourite so far is Ravenhearst. I especially liked unravelling an intriguing story! - at the same having a relaxing time doing so!

I like jigsaws, but prefer to do them for the sake of them rather than as a means to an end in a game although don't mind 1 or 2 - so not so keen on that idea - but I'm with old hag on the lock puzzles - I really enjoyed them!

I liked the ideas in the first 2 Prime Suspects Game & also Paparazzi but would prefer something with a darker feel & less cartoony - with or without humour!!!

I love these kind of games also I have bought every one of them and enjoy playing them,in between an adventure game.Magic Academy for some reason I can't play past level 12,I get an error mess.and my computer was very noisey.Once I uninstalled it the noise stopped They are good for replays cause your alway's looking for new items

I love the seek and find games but some are better than others. I like them best when there are a variety of puzzles breaking up the hunting and some kind of story behind what you're doing. So far, MCF Prime Suspects and Magic Academy have been my favourites. (I couldn;t get Ravenhurst to run on my computer for some reason).

Starlite... what a great idea. How wonderful to be so talented to create things like that.

So many of us love the hidden object but I also like the new game Magic Academy because it also had scenes where you had to find the differences between two seemingly identical rooms. Maybe these games bring back childhood memories but I just love them.

Do let us know if you create something... we'll all stand in line to test it.

PS.. Big Fish is making a small fortune on these games so would probably be interesting in seeing what you have.

Where can I buy Ravenhurst on a CD to play like I did Prime Suspect?
I am not fond of downloading or playing games online.
I went to Big Games Site, but they only mention downloading games or playing online.
I want to own it so I can play it over & over if I won't to.

All Games are 19.99 for download. You can join their GameClub (just click on the 65% off on their site) and you can join to get them as low as 6.99. It really depends on how many you think you'll be playing in the future months.

You can download and play an hour for free to try out before you buy.

Wow, terrific input. Well I have to finish with Roanoke first. I just finished the 3 major puzzles in the game that I thought might give me problems script wise. My hubby says that by the looks of it it's going to be quite the game when it's finished.

If I can make this Buddy The Thief game even though it will be free I'd still like to see people buy games from Big Fish. I'm not trying to undercut anyone. I just want to give something free to people who would appreciate it.

Game making is a hobby for me and it's turning out to be an enjoyable one, a bit frustrating at times but the outcome is worth the aggravation. Thank you all for your input and ideas.

Mysteryville sounds like something I'd like but I'll have to wait and see if Big Fish acquires it because I'm not paying full price for it.

I hope Big Fish offers it soon.

I love to play these games. I have the $6.99 deal at Big Fish. My favorite so far is Ravenhearst.

I just love the I SPY games that are marketed towards kids. I have them all.

I love the hunting games, but don't like the ones where the time can run out. I like to know how long it takes me, but don't like racing the clock. That way, I can see if I can better my own time the next time I play it.

I was actually thinking, if I'm able to make a game like Big Fish games, is hiding items in stuff like drawers, cupboards, envelopes etc. You know give people a bit of a challenge instead of everything being out in the open. I was thinking of scrapping the time clock also. I like to relax when I play a game not rush around like a mad fool. We'll have to see how it goes. My scripting is still not up to par, but I'm learning.

Please do, or at least make it optional. Timed anything makes me nervous.

I really enjoyed Ravenshearst, but would have enjoyed it more without the timer.

I am a game club member at Bigfish. My preference is the MCF Games. Such as Prime Suspect, Hunstville and Ravenhearst.

I also have the travelogue game too. I like the find the hidden item games there and then a good puzzle at the end, to finish the game.
