Ladyjane are you in the third level of this game? I remember something under the table in this part of the game but thought it was a flask of oil? Anyway, stand somewhere near the middle of that table and pan slowly until you get an active cursor. The keys might open the desk. Be sure to save your game before you try to open the desk though.

Ladyjane this one is all about timing and it takes awhile to get the hang of it. As soon as you can pick up the bucket on the left and put it over the scorpion by your foot. Immediately grab the other bucket, and take a step towards the door. Grab Parkeys bag. Take the remaining bucket out of your inventory and go behind the checkerboard thing. Look down and place the bucket over the remaining scorpion. Don't forget to grab a wooden board that isn't far away before you leave this area. Good luck

I have no saves for this game, sorry.
Sue
Is this a part of the game where you must have light? I honestly don't remember but know there are parts where you die quickly without a light source.

LadyJane, according to the download page you are supposed to copy the games to TM0TM:data -- I don't know if that would make any difference, but check to be sure you have it correct. If the save is in the right place then you may not be looking for it in the right place in your game--when you get to the "load" section in your game, check all of the saves to see if you can find the right one...

LadyJane, it's hard to tell exactly what your problem is, but I wonder if you have enough light--without that you can't go forward. You should have gotten the material for two torches, and if one has gone out then you need to light the other one. (Actually it's been literally years since I played this game, but it seems to me that I remember you have to light the second torch from the first one, before it goes out. But don't take that as absolute truth, my memory is inclined to be somewhat unreliable these days. ) If you have the torch lit, then you need to give us more information about what you've done--maybe one of the wine bottles is in the wrong place...

Ladyjane if you are in the wine cellar, look around on the floor for a paint brush I think. Use the paint brush on the center stone of what should be the doorway. You should see a 3 on it. Start from the bottom right hand side and then click on every 3rd stone.
