It's a seek n find game at Big Fish today,it gives you a riddle of what your looking for rather then a list.I tried the Demo yesterday and wound up buying it :)Those who like these type's I think will enjoy this one wave

I may not have gone where I intended to go,but I think I have ended up where I need to be.

I like the game, but didn't think it was exactly see and find or hidden object because the objects are in plain site... but you don't know what you are looking for until you solve the riddle.

The riddles aren't terribly hard and I wish I had picked to play the hard version now, but I wasn't sure just what he game was like until I was into it.

I suggest to all you game wizards... play the hard one. The easy is almost too easy. I'll play it again on the hard level next.

Some of the things are tricky and hard to spot and aren't always objects but sometimes people! You have a group of warriors in a painting like picture and the riddle speaks of one who protects... you have to pick out that warrior.

All in all I give it a thumbs up. I can't wait to come home from work and play some more. I did about 8 scenes last night.
I like it. Something a bit different.

I wanted to post about this yesterday, but had to wait for release. I played it a bit yesterday and will buy it. I think it's lots of fun.

Most of the riddles are pretty easy, but the one scene was hard. The story is neat too. I like that there are two levels to choose from and hope that becomes a standard feature. wave

I thought this one was rather clever L4L. The first person I thought of after playing the demo was your M-I-L!
I especially liked solving the riddles, creative puzzles and not so hard.

I'd have to give this game a thumbs up too thumbsup. I downloaded it after I got an email telling me about the preview for club members. It's just so different and I know that I'm going to buy it. I hope it's not too short and I don't know about replayability? (a word I hope). Game creators should make note of the vast possibilities for games of this type, so they just don't repeat the same old, same old clicking on objects to be found.

I just played the demo for 20 minutes and then bought it. It has thousands of riddles, so I'm sure it is replayable. The story may not change, but the riddles and the objects to find definitely will.

At least it is different.

It seems that the clues are randomized for each location (for replayabilty) and aside from the slightly grainy graphics, I like it. Alt-tab does weird things to my resolution. Maybe it's just me though.

The riddles are really easy for the "present" scenes but find the "past" scenes really, really hard.

I agree. I like it as well. I have been playing the last couple of days and I will definitely be getting it. It is different and can be hard in certain scenes, but I like it.

I haven't noticed any grainy graphics. I love the riddles as they add something new to the genre.
I've found that as you progress the "jigsaw" puzzle pictures are harder to do. They aren't true jigsaw nor are they true sliders, not sure how to class them.
All in all, lots of levels and enough variety to keep the game fresh and new.

Another GB'er said the riddles repeated in her hour demo.

Has anyone started over to see if the riddles & items are changed?

That was my main complaint with Mysteryville - everything was always the same.

Thanks :wave

Linda start under another name and see if all the riddles repeat. That's the only way I know to find out if things are the same.

Hi,

I bought the game when it came out for BF members, and love it. Played it in the easy mode, and it is very entertaining. Not too hard, and you can always play it in the other mode if you want shorter time.

I had been playing Azada, and really do NOT like the beeping timer. I stopped playing Azada and just had fun with this game.

Hope you all have lots of fun, too!

Hey All!

It is worth it! I purchased it immediately and I am still playing it since yesterday. I have to force myself to stop playing. It is a new spin on the hidden objects genre!

I would suggest buying it--its awesome!!!!!!!!

I love this different slant on this genre but as you repeat rooms, so some of the riddles repeat. But the rising difficulty of piecing the pictures together is great. Well worth buying.

Susan,

When I read the blurb of this game - it states 'exclusive' Big Fish. Let me check more.

----
Blue Tea Games has it in their site here but still it is a Big Fish download.
So it is Big Fish only.

Thanks MaG,

Spin Top usually gets it after it's "exclusive" for a couple of weeks so I'll just have to be patient". I can download Big Fish Games- just not from the Big Fish website.

Susan
I can purchase it from Blue Tea but I never heard of them and I hesitate to downlaod from a site I never heard of before.

Blue Tea is the developer of the game and had Big Fish distribute it. They made 2 or 3 more games. So I think they're ok.

I finished the review (finally). to sum it up:
play time: 4 hours
randomization system: typical, but doesn't work that well. you can find 4 out of 9 items in common with that last chapter, back to back same scenes.
replayability: suspect
bottomline: I liked it for the originality.
Review is up on my homepage if anybody's interested. It's pretty thorough. (to those who haven't read them before, I'm BRUTAL.)

Exclusivity deals exludes the developer of the game from distributing it as well. (LDW can't sell Plant Tycoon yet)

I played on Archaeologist.

I tried the other mode the second time around but it doesn't seem to be any different (more hints, but that's it) since I didn't really feel restricted by the time anyway.

Speaking of restricted by time, I think the only real challenge out there is Dream Day Honeymoon - talk about an unforgiving timer!
