I'm nearing the end of the game but have lost my way. As Thara I've just grabbed the melon from the fruit stand in the soccer stadium and I want to give it to Moses in the locker room. The locker room door in the tower is locked.

When I first entered the locker room wasn't it via a secret passage that needed Assil to be in a certain place? He's now in the VIP box.

Please help me get in the men's locker room

Aretha, after you pick up the melon from the fruit stand go back down the stairs and turn left. That should get you to the locker room.

That's what the walkthrough seems to be saying but I'm missing something. I can walk down grandstand steps to the bottom where the tailor is watching the game but can't find an exit on the left. I can leave and enter the tower and go down lots of steps but not find the locker room (except for the locked locker room door). I must be as blind as the tailor!

From the top of the grandstand, you walk down a flight of steps to a landing just below where the 3 characters are.
Then you walk down another flight of steps and you will be at the bottom with the tailor.
At the landing, is where you want to be. Go left there and be at the exit.

I can be on the landing with the 3 revolutionaries just above me, and the tower entry door on the right, but if I try and walk left of screen I get an overhead view and thara won't walk anywhere left of the flight of steps. I feel very stupid but I'm still stuck...

You are correct where you should be - under the 3 revolutionary.
Exit the grandstand using that exit.
You will see Thara standing inside the building.
Then go left to the croc's locker room.

Once inside the building, I can go down 2 flights of steps to the locker room door, beside the entry to the trainer, and the guard - but the locker room door is locked.

In the locker room, go forward. You should see the player standing on the left. Give him the melon then. You do not need to open a locker to do so.

Sorry Mag, I can't go into the locker room at all. The door is locked. There's an open entryway to where the trainer is but a wooden door to the locker room, which Thara tells me is locked.

I replayed that part.
I went down one flight of stairs from the fruit stand. This makes me at the same level as the revolutionaries.
Went down one more flight and then went to top of screen to exit the grandstand.
I am now inside the building.
Went down 2 flight of stairs.
I see the guard standing by the entryway to the coach's box to be outside.
To the left is another entryway that is open. This doesn't have a door - this is the locker room that you need to go to.
You will find the player inside.

Yes thanks mag, we're talking about the same place. The cursor says 'enter the locker room' but Thara says "the door is locked" and it looks like a wooden door with two metal horizontal pieces on it.

Obviously for a long time I thought I was in the wrong place but I'm in the right place and can't get in. Would a save game sort me out as you and I don't know why I have a locked door? I'd appreciate one, if that's going to solve this problem.

Not that I've found where save games are stored.

Are you trying this door:
It is in the same screen as the guard standing by the open entryway to the outside where the coach is.
You might be at outside where the 2 guards are lower that the princess bedroom.

Yes the 'door' is in the same screen as the guard who checks your pass and near the open entryway to the coach.

Aretha let me see if I can't find this spot in my game and get you moving along.

The saved game is on the way.
If your door is not opened - this is because you did not go out of the locker room from this door earlier to go to the grandstand.
You might have gone back through the locker itself and in the caves.

Yes, when I was in the locker room I couldn't find a door to leave from, so I left the way I came in. My mistake. Thanks for all the help and the save game. Next time I play this I'll find the door I hope and avoid this problem.
