Hi MaG..

Guess what I can't do that constellation puzzle..I read the walk through...but I can't figure it out..

I don't know if you have a sav pass that part...
Or even if it will work on a downloaded game..

Thanks

Darleen,

My saves will not be the same as yours unless we selected the same avatar and same zodiac sign.

You can do this. Place the cursor on the constellation or look in the walkthrough - to know the spelling of the constellation.

Then click on the Greek letters as shown. The letters do not repeat so some of the names of the constellation will be cutoff.
Follow the walkthrough's letters. Check if you are clicking on the correct one by the name seen on top right of screen.
Also some letters have an apostrope before it. So unless the name seen by moving the cursor on the constellation shows one, don't select it.

Darleen,

Check you're horoscope for that day by clicking on your chosen Zodiac sign at bottom left of the gameplay menu.
You can have good days or bad days.
The walkthrough tells you want happens on the good day or bad days.

Have you read the Prusias scroll?

It states that Amath leaves and Canaan thorns have the same properties. So use Canaan thorns.

Hahahaha. That's funny.

All the clues are in there. Read and see that all the answers are found in the scrolls.

I really liked this game! The horoscope part is an interesting twist and should add to the replayability of this beautiful game. True to most of Kheops studio's products there are lots potions and things to mix together. I also like it that, as you say MaG, all the clues are there to find. (As usual your WT helped me to get past the stuck places....thank you thank you!!)It helps a lot to read the notebook in the menu section to see the game's logic. Great Fun!

The game's too short :-\
I'm about to finish it (just a feeling), it was fairly easy for me, and I really don't want to finish it :-\

There's definitely definitely definitely no logic to human behaviour.

I am now at the lab and I'm trying to prepare the sleeping draft. The scroll mentions that I should use double doses, I got that. I did what the scroll says and nothing happens. The question is how do I combine the necessary ingredient with the respective powder? I'm just adding the ingredients and the powders one after the other (drop ingredient, then powder, then again the same, and so on) and then I'm trying to place the fish fillets, but they are not accepted. I even tried two portions of ingredients and one portion of powder, but still no luck. Grrr....

Amerzone save before you do anything with the fish.
Are you dropping the ingredients into a clean pan of water? Put all the herbs into the water and then put in the fish pieces. If the potion is correct, the fish should turn pink.
Good luck

Sue

Thanks, there's no need for a save, since you can always drop the contents of the bowl to the waste bin. And, of course, the bowl is clean when I start.

Anyway, I finally managed. Time to feed the crocs smile You only need to mix two handfuls of each of the four ingredients that the scroll mentions. No need to mix any powder (at least this is how I did it). Imho, this is a design mistake of the game: if you don't need to put any powder for the sleeping draft, why the scroll mentions them?!

I don't know why you were mixing any powder, dropping them into water mixed them Amerzone.
Maybe you'll need other formulas later in the game?

- gray powered melukhka
- ashod resin in nugget form
- green powdered canaan thorns
- white powdered tjekker flowers

See what I mean?

Amerzone,

I might be misinterpreting your statement 2 posts above this one but gray powder is the description of melukkha, ashod resin is in nugget form, green powder is the description of Canaan thorn and the Tjekker flowers is white powder. Those are just descriptive clues.

Ah, you got the the unidentified powders in your thought process when doing this puzzle. Remember that the scroll didn't know that. The scroll is an information source only.

Such an indication of the powders (in the list of the ingredients) may be descriptive, but the first thing that came to my mind when I read the scroll was that I should combine the ingredients with the powders. To me, it is useless such a description: more words sometimes means more confusion for the gamer. A plain list of the ingredients would be more than enough in this case.

Okay, this topic has now veered away from hints. Please if you feel a need to expound on your view, post it in the Discussion forum.

I think your zodiac sign determines if you will have good luck or bad luck Darleen.
