Sig, someone mentioned working on a Loki walkthrough here on the Loki official forum, but so far I haven't seen anything. That forum has a lot of information about the game though. I haven't heard anything about a Chosen walkthrough. The official site doesn't have a forum, and in fact, doesn't even have the support up yet. There's links to reviews of the game here if you're interested though.

Hi,
Does anyone know if this game will work on Windows 2000 and is it a play alone type or is it only online type?
I have 2 sites that tell me 2 different information.
EB Games says:
Windows XP/Vista 32/64-bit Pentium4 2GHz/AthlonXP 2000+ 512 MB RAM 64 MB DirectX 9 compatible (GeForce4 Ti/Radeon 9000) DirectX 9 compatible, DirectX: 9.0c or higher (supplied on the game DVD) Hard disk space: 7 GB Multiplayer: LAN/broadband Internet for online play and 1 GB RAM
Amazon says:
Windows Vista / XP / 2000

Here's the specs from the official site: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista Pentium III 1.4 GHz DirectX compatible 3D accelerator card (64MB+ RAM) 256 MB RAM 600 MB hard drive space 4x CD-ROM Mouse & Keyboard
So it is meant to play on Windows 2000 anyway. It's standalone. Multi-player is online.

Welcome to Gameboomers derWalrus! Hopefully you get a response - this one and this other one have pretty much been all that has been mentioned by people playing the game. Are you enjoying it?

Thanks for the info! One of the threads did mention the cauldron of creation and it sounds interesting. You mention magic at a steep cost. Can you be a magic user in this game?

I have played Loki through about 3 or 4 times, have not used a walkthrough, for some reason this game does not need it. Hard to get lost, but easier to get killed. Love the game, highly recommend it. I have not played The Chosen, is it a point and click??? Thanks and hope it was a help maggie :spring:

Thanks, your enthusiasm for the game is encouraging, and I may have to try it sometime. According to the link above Maggie, Sig said it was mostly point and click, with hitting the space bar for pause.

Nickie- It is a great game, there are four characters from four different lands, play the big guy last, he has the toughest animal towards the first half to kill. It is a keeper game for me and I was never dissappointed with it at all.By the way, Sig is right, it is about 95% point and click, so you know I like it. maggie :spring:

Sorry sweet Maggie, I meant the Chosen. I did try Loki and...well, let's just say I don't think of it fondly.

I have played The Chosen once through and I really enjoyed it. I have started with a few more people just to have something to fool around with. It is easy point and click and with the summoned help it goes quick. I love using the shotgun in this game hehe.

I played The Chosen and really liked the game, but I had to resort to a trainer because you never had enough money to buy things. I got half-way through without the trainer and found myself hanging around waiting to heal because I couldn't buy healing. You have to spend most of your money on repairing your equipment.

Syd, it's available on CD and at a very reasonable price. Here is one place you can buy it.
