Hi i'm stuck at the game too in act 4.

i found the arrows, went to the pub and opened the passageway.
The finger of suspicion says that i must talk to the colonel and the woman that draws the picture of north but i cant find her and the colonel has nothing to say anymore.

In the walkthrough there is something about: the gardeners are near when you have to digg up that arrows but the game never mentioned that. And also that i need to talk to the girl to let me know that something was thrown to her but i cant do none of that...

i hope i dont have to restart the whole game so pls help

Brunette I don't remember where the woman is that does the drawing, she could be sitting in the lobby of the hotel or outside somewhere sitting down.
Go down to the rocky looking beach and see if you can't find Emily there.

Is the car still in the garage? If so, that is what throws the time off in this act.

See if you can go back before doing the car.
Do all the things in the village and then on your way bac, do the car. Leave the garage, go back in and see if the car is still there.
Hopefully the car is gone and you can move forward now.

I had the issue as well, and some previous saves, and followed YoungSherlock's suggestion of leaving the points fixing last. Which didn't work :/
So thanks again for the save Mag, and I really wonder if there's a way to definitely avoid that glitch.

Sue, would you email me the Act 4 saved game? I too am stuck in the same spot not being able to find Emily Brewster.

Does anyone have a save for the end of chapter 7. I have been trying all night to get my last stopwatch timing (which is apparently for the rocky beach) but it just won't take it. According to the wt that's all I have left. It would be much appreciated!

Letter:
If the torn letter is not placed in the inventory automatically, it means that it is not put together correctly. Work on it again, take care on the design on the edges, the words and also check the edges of each pieces.

Oil:
Horace Blatt's room: Enter the next room.
Open the suitcase on top of the bed. Take clothes off and see an oily spot.
Use the spatula on the oily spot on the suitcase and get *oil sample.

Please do not use upper case letters. It means shouting in net language.

dlea unless you followed the w/t step by step and word for word, the game will not be exactly as the walkthrough is.
Check your "to do" list" and see if anything is left on it, check your journal and see that all red letter entries have turned black. Try wandering around to see what might have been missed. If you are still stuck, click on Poirot and go to the office. Use the finger or suspicion or ask him for a hint.
