stuck on the puzzle with 6 discs

The 6 disks will not be used in the mansion.
It will be used in another place entirely.
The chain is actually a metal used to turn something later.

Best that you go to the left aisle and look at the door there.
Look down on the floor close to the door and see a piece of something.
Then you need to find the rest of the pieces.

I have 3 white/blue pieces that I can put in, and the wire-like shaped devive that fits... Is it about brightness somehow?? and how to I get the right combination of it all?

No, the clue to the position that you should end up with after turning is found at the back of the old map taken from the locked rollup desk at Ivar's cabin.
Take note of the position of each symbol of the wire turner and the points of the star.
Then position the 3 pieces so that it will end up to the correct position after you ahve turned it 3 times.

Got it... but there is more combining to do to get the next place on the map I see... It's getting vaguer and vaguer ;-)

Check the map that you marked and see which one you can go to.
Check the book at Noath's desk.
Click the map after you find the appropriate sentence in that book.
You have also additional clues taken from Ivar's cabin to help you identify that place.

What puzzle needs 6 disks, the locked door to poer's tomb needs only 5 and that's all I've got. Can't figure out where to put them. MaG can you tell me where to put them? Thanks

Sorry, they're 5 disks for Poer's crypt door puzzle.
Okay, remember what is in the burned book at Clark's bed. It talked about soul metamorphosis. Something about it ends in a sun eclipse. Also remember the nightmare in the island and the eclipse.
Now, if it ends in an eclipse; it should start with a sun.


Now you need the little symbols in between the disks. There are 3 of them. The clue here is the tracing taken from the back of the statue of the man sitting on a throne at the cellar of Ivar's cabin,

Now you know what to place and what order on those small symbols.
The puzzle is how to place them. Click on the edge of the disk so that the little symbols scrolls and you can select.
Do the center one first. Then do the 2 sides.

I think I have a picture of the solved puzzle on my first eplay. Holler if you need it.

hi, so far your clues have really helped me in this game...but im about to screem.......im in the tower. i only have 2 of those blue and white pieces and 5 round disks with the metal handle....where are the other pieces....in this area? or have i missed them alltogether...I can seem to leave so im hoping that they are here somewhere.....Help me if ya can please.

Hi there!It seems to me that i am stuck because of some bugs.
1)I inserted the map in Ivar's cabin but i can mark only 2 symbols,besause i underlined only 2 symbols in Loath Nolder's symbols' paper that lies in drawer in his office.I tried to get back to office and unerline more symbols but Howard can't do it now .Also clues about symbols dissapeared.It's really frustrates me.What to do,guys?
2)I got brush and thinner in Ivar's cabin.As i read-the thinner must clean that brush and it must be in use with some ink(but i don't know why it needed).So i tried to combine items in Howard's mind and no help.I had a talk with Madman but it also was in vain.Any suggestions?

Lorry, You need 3 of the blue-white pieces. 2 are taken from the chest at top of tower and one is picked up together with the key that opened the temple below.

Somhairie, No you're not. This game has some twisty clues.


RedJohn, No, it's not a bug on the symbols list underlining. I also was stumped there a bit before. Be sure that he mentions that WMT is Wellsmoth.
Then click it on the marked map that you did in the cellar.
Then underline the other WMTs and also the symbols.
Brush - The brush and ink will be used later on the back of the sitting statue at the cellar. You will see 3 deafced symbols there. You need to make a copy of those symbols.

Well MaG can't figure out the symbles for the 5 disks. I got the disks in the right place but thats as far as I got. If you want to E-mail me on the three, right order they go.

Mag,how can i be sure that Howard knows that WMT is Wellsmoth?and how to do it?I have read that book in drawer about Wellsmoth legends,but Howard didn't see clue here...Also i can't click Wellsmoth on map that in in cellar(only can mark it),because it has no names on it,and also i already marked 2 symbols here and can't take the map away.

I just looked at that puzzle.
I opened the drawer.
I read the book.
I looked at the pwper with numbers.
I underlined WMT and the eye symbol - one line.
Howard says that is the eye symbol seen at Ivar's place...
Then he says WMT must stand for Wellsmoth.

Then now I underlined ONE at a time: WMT and a symbol beside it and then clicked the gear icon. They will be placed in the Clue page as symbol#.
Do this until you have all 4 underlined and are in the Clue page.

Mag,hmm i can't precisely remember did he talk about Wellsmoth that time when i underlined it in that list with eye symbol or not.I suppose it had to be so.Now he says that it is just a list of symbols that i saw in Ivar's cabin and nothing more.And can't do anything with the map.Can't really understand what to do...

Yes i tried to underline only 1 WMT and symbol beside it,but it's not working for me...

Well I finished the game but not without your help MaG. Only got two stars. Not to good. Sure was a bright Sun. Thanks

If you have a saved game before doing the underlining, might be best to use that and replay from there.
