Am sort of frustrated-am trying to open the door to Clarissa'a bedroom (at the early stages of game), have found the key in the desk, gone to her door, knock, then can't find the key to open the door with. The only thing in inventory is the walking stick. Can't find the key anywhere. Would surely appreciate any help you could give.

Inventory is accessed by the down arrow. Once the frame is seen, select the item using the A or D keys.

The key does not appear in inventory. Sorry, do not want to shout. Thanks for your help. Had figured out how to deal with inventory. Any further ideas?

Brockway if the key isn't in your inventory, please go back where you found it and see if it's there.
If you don't mean to shout, then please edit your posts. It's as easy for you to do as for me to.

I need help in the library to get the book Fall of darkness in the walk-through. It tells me to move to the T and then to the F. And I will get for automatically does not work can someone help me out here which letters to a use to get the book.

Norm, after moving to the letters T and then F, did you press the space bar and then press the lever using the space bar, doing this for each letter.

MaG,Sue or anyone, I am now playing Dead Reef. I am at the bottom of Signaling Cliff. I finally found the fire pit and he says the clerk said he landed here. In the WT it says use the walking stick on rock to see blood on ground. I have moved all around that spot and can't seem to find the spot where I can activate the walking stick. The eye comes up but not the hand. Is there a specific place I should be standing? There is a small rock on the left and a little larger one on the right. Thanks for your help.

There are 2 places down there that you should click on.
One is on the path by the cliffside and should be under the broken rope above. Look up to check.
The other is under the building above. Look up to check.
There is a firepit on the ground. One of the rocks on that firepit is active. Use the walking stick on that rock.

If you see the eye, also click so that he can observe and it can be recorded.

Thanks loads MaG. I had walked down to what you called the firepit but didn't realize I had to jump down there to be able to move the rock. I am up and running again.

Well, I got a little bit farther. I am at the draw bridge going to Inventor Tirell's house. I have worked the prisoner puzzle but it won't let me pick up the golden ball capsule. I have moved around every which way and he says he doesn't need that or asks if I have any other ideas. The message shows in my inventory. Any suggestions?

P.S. OK, I figured it out. I had to click the puzzle message on the golden ball capsule and then it went inside and into my inventory as the golden capsule. Maybe this will help someone else.

Well here I am again. I am locked in the crypt. I am supposed to get the ropes from under Patrick's body. I have walked around the body and all he says is here is Patrick's body. I can't seem to find the place to click on the ropes. Can anyone help me. Thank you.

Go to the other end of this room. look at the window ?porthole.
You will then know an idea. That is when you can take the rope.

That worked fine MaG. Now I can't get out of Edward's parlor. I took the burned paper out of the fireplace with my walking stick. Then I went upstairs and looked at the painting. He says "Edward knew about the relic". Then the WT says to go down and exit the balcony door. When I click on the door he says "I have to investigate some more perhaps I missed something. I went back upstairs and looked at all the paintings and clicked on the fireplace again too. Is there something else I am supposed to do in Edward's room?

There are the left and right side part of the room with the stairs at the center.
Then the left side of the room has another screen to the right.
So be sure that you have checked all of them.
There are several paintings there that you need to click on.

Thanks again MaG. I was missing the painting in the left side of the room over to the right. I am going again. I still haven't mastered moving the poor man around. I keep running him into walls. I sure like the games that use the mouse. Spoiled, I guess.
