Hi -

I also need a saved game for after the reconditioning process which was the arcade type game with bombs and laser fire. I became so frustrated, I stopped playing this game for a bit but then yesterday realized that you can request game saves on this site. Thanks in advance.

Mag -

I followed your instructions but the save doesn't seem to appear in the game. Found the folder and copied the file from your email. On your save, I changed the player number and replaced the save number with my last save number (I seem only to have 2 save files despite several more saved games). I had to delete my prior save since it wouldn't let me keep a file with a duplicate name. Tried this several times and despite replacing the save when I open the game I go back to my old save prior to the puzzle. Can you tell what I'm not doing correctly. BTW - saves which were sent by Sue installed just fine the other day. Thanks.

Zoo the only thing I can think of is that there is a conflict with the numbers.
Check your game folder and make sure you aren't trying to make a duplicate please.

No duplicate - tried by deleting old 2 save (but I kept a copy in another file) and creating new one with Mags save - then tried again by creating a new save 3 with Mags save leaving the old 2 save in place - nothing. I'm using Vista-but I haven't had a problem previously. Can we try another save? Perhaps I did something wrong to the one previously sent? Also, since I have only 2 saved games in the data file but at least 4 saved games in the actual game - is this the problem? Thanks.

Try using another profile if that is available or if Sue has a saved game that might better for you. luck

Maybe your other saved games might be in another profile.

Hi Mag -

Not sure what you mean by another profile - I started the game again as player 1 and those games also didn't show up nor did the save. There is only one profile on the computer. I've looked all over for the "other" saved games - maybe, this isn't going to work for me.

As a point of clarification, if only 2 saved games show up - should I rename your save as the most recent game saved or as save 3. I've been using the last numerical game save (always 2) even if game 1 save has a later time indicated. I'll try using your save as the latest save, as indicated by the time saved.

Sue - if you have a different save, can we try it?

Make a save that you don't need, see if that can be seen in the folder.
Then use that number when you renumber the one I sent. luck

It's a compatibility issue between the game and Vista - It now works and I've located the rest of the saves. If you have Vista, when you pull up the save folder under the game - it's incomplete data. You need to go the compatibility files (located on the same screen right above the data listed as saves - double click) and then insert the saved game you sent per your instructions into that listing. Almost a sub-listing of the saved files folder and - it works. We might see more of these issues as we try to play games a bit older on a Vista system. Thanks for your help-have a good night.

Thanks for the info on the saves in Vista zoobug. I have Vista on my new computer and if I play this game it might come in handy to know that.

Redcell,

Its been awhile since I've played this game. I have saves but not sure which one you need. Can you describe the arcade puzzle, please? wave

It is the part where the guys on the ground are shooting at what looks like a flying fly. You bomb the guys on ground and then there is a man at the end shooting at you. I understand that you have to shoot 3 of these bosses to go on and rescue Lani. I hope this helps. Thank you

Please could I too have a save game for after the bombs and lazers arcade game. I don't think I would be able to beat it if I played until next year mad I do wish game designers wouldn't do this sort of thing - if I liked arcades (or was any good at them!) I would choose to play them lol

And now I'm stopped again mad I cannot do the Pillar of Fire puzzle !!!! I know what to do but my hand/eye co-ordination is lousy cry Do you have a saved game with this done please? I would really like to finish as I am enjoying it now I have reached the Gods part. I had to use the WT for evading the guards, initially I thought I was going to need a save there, but the next morning it turned out that 2.30am after a bottle of wine was NOT the beat time for following precise instructions lol
