Hi,
I am stuck with the three millstones. I tried reading the map and am puzzled and stuck finding the correct millstones. I tried the first one closest to the lane and turned it to the winter symbol, but I didn't see the next millstone when I peered through the top hole. Then the second millstone, I tried was near a path that I had to go around and up a hill, and the third millstone was near the mushrooms and the broken stone. Was that the correct order? I never saw the tower at the top hole when I looked again at the first millstone. Please help!

Have a Happy Easter!

Study the map.
Climn the path across the post with letter.
Then you will see the first millstone that is winter.
Take the path either at bottom right or top right and see the second millstone which is spring.
Go right again maybe 2 clicks and see the thrid millstone that is summer and the broken millstone by the mushroom (autumn).

When you peered on the hole, you will see the hole of the next millstone Not the whole millstone.

Thanks! Will give it a try. Is it the hole of the third millstone, summer, by mushrooms, that when I look through I see the hole of the next millstone? Where would that be? Which hole do I see the tower of Northfield Church?

Enjoying game, but this part is a little confusing.

Thanks!

I was never able to see the locations of the next millstones through the top hole either. I also don't really understand how the puzzle could have worked. There were once 4 millstones that could be turned, but one was destroyed. So why does turning only 3 millstones work? Shouldn't we have had to somehow reassemble the missing one?

Hi,
I am on Night Two-Return to Carrion Woods, and I heard something in the Bathroom, saw a shadow cross in front of the keyhole opening, and then saw the shadow of the dress form in the corner, something in the sink, and then it was gone. I took a picture of the mirror and saw a man. I also used the camera on the arm chair, and discovered a woman in the chair revealed after viewing the picture. I tried to use the recorder on the arm chair, but Nigel said that there was nothing! Tried other gadgets, but nothing. What did I miss? Upstairs, I put the evidence on the table in the Bed Room, and a pair os scissors was revealed under the covers. Please help!
Thanks!

Linda I'm not positive but I think there was a hotspot on the ceiling area when you are standing on the stairs before you go into the bedroom. Did you look at the odd wall downstairs with the cameras I think?

There is an hot spot where he hung himself on the beam .You have to stand at the top of the landing .Turn right so you can see the ceiling and it is some where there .Maybe you need the picture of the rope or was this later .Worth a check

I wondered about this also but since going back to the first millstone sees through the 2nd and 3rd I am guessing that the 4th and missing millstone can't possibly be turned wrongly since it is missing. Properly aligned that hole would also have just been the extended window duh

So many games, so little time.

The broken millstone looks like just a pile of rocks. Nothing to do at that millstone. I don't think I even saw the millstones through the other ones. All I did was turn the 3rd, 2nd and 1st in that order (I was a bit turned around) and when I looked into the 1st I saw the church.

I guess so, but if that were the case, couldn't you have just looked through the hole in the 3rd millstone without adjusting the other two?

Thanks! I did take a recording of the Noose at the Museum, but didn't check the ceiling prior to going to the bedroom. Will try and see if I can get any further than where I am now.
Any more hints would be appreciated, as I am stuck at this spot.

Thanks!

Hi,
I redid the part and I took a picture of the active spot on the ceiling on the 2nd floor. The picture did show something. Then I went down and heard the noise in the bathroom, saw a shadow cross the keyhole, and went into the room. Turned on the lights and noticed the hairs in the sink, but no comment was made, then the lights went out and on again. The hairs were missing! I took a picture of the figure in the mirrow. Nigel went to the arm chair and took a picture of a lady sitting in the chair, but when he went to take a recording, nothing happened. I tried several other devices, but nothing occurred. This is still the place where I am stuck! Please help! I can't get past this section! I took a recording at the museum and everthing else I tried in the WT.
Any hints would be of help!
Thanks!

Use the videocam on the armchair and see if you get anything.
Alos try again on the recorder.
Can you get out of the house?

Have you been to the wall where the door is boarded up .Think you need to see the man pass through it and a pic of the rope on the landing

Thanks MaG, will use the edit button next time. I was at the wall where the door is boarded up and I did see a man pass through it. I also have a picture of the rope end on the landing. I will try again to take another picture and use another device on the arm chair. Hope I can get this solved!
Thanks!

I used the recorder on the chair, and didn't get anything. I was able to get out of the house and noticed a letter stuck in the door jam. It was an invitation from the Station Master to check on something at the station and Nigel said that he should go and check it out. I hate to do that if I am stuck and can't get a recording of the arm chair.

Any more tips would be appreciated.

Sorry! Thanks! I will continue on to the station and see about the poltergeist activity in the Sexton's station.

Linda,

Continue on and do the Station. If the game allowed you - go ahead and proceed with the game.

You did not use the edit button and post at the old posting.
I combined the two postings now.

Hi!
I am at Habour Cottage and Lucy has helped Nigel set up the monitors in the kitchen, bathroom, hallway and balcony. I have waited for about 10 minutes and haven't seen anything on the monitors. I watched the yellow bars on the left on each monitor and so far none of them have reached the top left. Nothing is happening on any of the monitors! How long do you wait before something occurs in the rooms? Did I forget to do something? Nigel stated that all of the transmitters were adjusted properly.
Please help!
Thanks!

Thanks! I was watching the yellow flash on the left and waiting for it to raise to the top. Now I know to watch the blue meters on the right and wait for the beep!
Again, thanks and hope that I can see some action in the rooms!

I tried watching the monitors again and was able to see all of the action in the rooms! Very interesting! I am now working on Clue 3 of the Treasure Hunt-April 30. Good game!
Thanks!
