Looks like a AAA title judging from the HQ trailer. I like the looks of this but i hope its 3rd person and im a bit puzzled by one of the characters in the game has a cookie for a head that just looks daft to me lol. But apart from that it looks well nice. Tho only problem is its being published by deep silver which is known to use that horid protection starforce which many i know boycott cos of the invasivness of it.

Will keep my eye on this game tho as it does look nice. I dont think it will be a traditional adventure tho by the looks of things im thinking a adventure/rpg thing and i do worry about what was mentioned " Gripping action sequences " which means it might be like dreamfall which i hated cos of the action sequences, i mean if i want action id play medal of honor or somit in a adv game i want to have a nice strole in a adventure and explore the world and characters and do quests like help him or her and inventory puzzles.

I'll find out which copy protection will be used in the Viva Media version, but it would surprise me very much if it's Starforce.

I wonder what it means "gripping actionsequences" - is this an Adventure game or an Action/Adventure? Do not like "action" where there is a lot of fighting using keyboard keys and both hands at once......would rather do a little light fencing or whatever or just slink by without such active interaction....thank you very much

I'll see if I can find out more about the copy protection and exactly what the "action sequences" involve.

I've read a couple of German reviews, none of them mention any action-sequences. As far as I am aware, it is pure point and click. I think the press release refers to cut-scenes rather than actual in-game action.

"Next generation of Adventure games" is a phrase that makes me tremble a little, but what I've seen looks promising. Hope there is a UK release!

Thanks Becky for the info on this fantastic looking game.
Thanks Darleen for the translation. It tells a lot about what to expect from the game. This is one that's going on my list. From what I read in the forums the UK version should be out in April.

The plot sounds very complicated, I hope they will make everything easy for us non americans to understand.

I've heard back from the publisher. The "action sequences" are cut scenes that you observe only (you don't have to respond, you're just watching.)

Quote:
...the action scenes are cut-scenes, and they’re absolutely beautiful. The game is more adventure instead of action focused, there is little action that requires quick reflexes, more puzzles to solve and brains involved. The game will not be using Starforce.
