Does anyone have a save just after miranda is trying to get rid of the inn keeper by locking him out on his veranda. Try as I might I keep trying to shoot at the barrel or vase then pot and wedge, but I am just not quick enough and am getting quite frustrated

Thanks MaG your files helped enormously, and have now managed to progress much futher into game. This game is fun, but I find it slow in parts to load plus I had to go back to a previous save becauese I wasn't quick enough to grab bucket before Miss Gristle came back from gallery. Never mind I suppose it will keep the game going longer and serve to remind me that I shpu;d save more often.

Hi Mag I am stuck again on second distraction of Miss Gristle. I cannot get my cursor back to pick up bucket before she comes back the screen remains in cinematic mode. Have I missed something or is this a bug? I have saved this game just before I talk to her so I can always reload. Thanks for any heko you can give me even if it is another save.

Best to replay. I did not have problems with the cursor so I'm not sure if it's a glitch.
Best to wait a few second after the cutscenes and then see if you can move.
If you still have problems, post at glitches.

Have resolved the problem of bucket - it wasn't by the couch where I saw it land, but near carpet by front door. I now have another problem though that is I am too slow in giving the ouzo to plant (guess T'm not that good at arcade type actions as I am too slow on mouse). Do you have a save for just after putting plant to sleep or do you have any suggestions?

You have ample time to take ouzo and give to plant as long as you are alone in the room. Take minimal steps, know what steps you have to do and it will work.
I have to check if I have a saved game here.

Saved game sent.
