I feel SO dumb!!! I was walking right past it all the time!! I found the 6 numbered panel. Now I am stuck again I found the left fragment under the bridge. Refilled the reservoir. Went down the ladder at the table room went down the left manhole there is no button there to push just a panel with 6 hexagons on it. When I go back up the ladder and cross the bridge do I press the button across the bridge before going through the door to unlock the floating center portion?

There is a button at the room below the left manhole that drains the reservoir. The 6 hexagons panel is not found there.
Please recheck what you have done on the wt. I think you missed a step.

To unlock the bridge, you need to open the panel on the bridge (the one half way across on the lower level) and pres the red button, you will see the locks retract. You can then go down the left manhole to drain the reservoir. This will allow you access to both the central and upper levels.

What exactly is it you are trying to do?

I figured it out. Now I have 2 problems I cant get back to my saved game. It went on Autosave somehow and I cant get it off. I did enter my game manually but now cant get back there the green arrow opposite the saved game is gone. It is the same problem as before. The Autosave does not save at the place I left the game it saves way before I left the game. I was having problems finding the library but if I cant get back to the game what do I do?

Ah, Dutch. I don't know how to help you except for you to contact the support at Got Game. I think that is your best choice.

Got the saves to work. How do I get to the ravine building to get to the library. I am at the chalk room. Where the C key was.

Have you been to the cave area already?

From the table (chalk) room, go across to the other building (across the bridge).
Go back down to the dry reservoir and down the grill to be at the cave tunnel.
Go back to the ladder in the cave building and up to the second level of the ravine building again.

Press the button by the window again to open the lower level door at the reservoir building.

Turn to the right, forward and see if the elevator bridge is here. If not, press the button to call it to this floor.
At the second level of the ravine building, go right, forward to the button. Press to lower this left side's bridge ladder.
Remember that this button to lower the left bridge-ladder is at the 2nd level.
Turn left, forward to the end and right to this side bridge ladder. (If the bridge is not raised, go down to first level and raise it).
Climb the right bridge ladder to next level (3rd).
Turn and forward until the button. Press the up button (twice) to raise the elevator bridge from second to 4th level.
Turn left and climb back down this bridge-ladder to the second level. Turn around and go to the alcove ladder. Climb down to the first level.
Go left, forward and open the door. Go left and forward to exit. You are now on the other side of the arched gate outside.

Gate and manholes - Cross this bridge-ladder and go left to the arched gate. Press the button to open and go to the other side.
Go down the manhole. Turn right - do not press the button to lower the bridge ladder. Go forward to the next ladder and climb up. See that you are outside the right side of the ravine building. Climb to the top and enter the building.

Go forward to the other side and see a window with a button. Press the button to power-activate the blue cable.
Turn around and see an up button. This button is used to call the elevator bridge in case it is not here.
Turn left, open the door and enter the library.

Why cant I print your instructions the rest of the page prints but not your instructions.That part is not in my walkthrough.

DUH my brain sure isnt working today!!!I found the library the buttons are set right in the cabinet I copied the first 2 books in the SE room but the N room the door wont open.Did I miss something in order to be able to open the North door. I checked the compass and it is the North door

After you arranged or program which room can be opened outside at the hallway, only 2 doors can be opened in one room.
Check if that is the door that you can exit or if you programed it correctly outside.

I am still at the first setting of the rooms. I have entered the SE room turn to the North door checked the compass to be sure it is North there is no drawing on the right side of the entryway.

My directions are based on the map that is shown on the left of the step by step in the walkthrough - not the compass.



The north room is the one at top of the picture.
The SE room is the one at around 4 o'clock

I figured it out and got through the library. How do I get out to go to find the Octagonal Paper? I press the orange button for the door and it does not open.

You're trying to get out of the library?
There are 2 doors there. One is still inactive and the other farther down the hallway is the exit to the building's hallway.
The button to open that is across the other door. Press that and the door to the hallway should open.

I was sure I picked up the blue key but guess I didnt it is not in my inventory. I am at the hut where I need the key. How do I go back to find the blue key?

The blue key is seen after you talk to the woman in red at the cavern area.

Press the button below the window to rise to the next floor.
Turn right and see a frame with octagonal shape inside. Turn right and take the blue old key. Turn right and see a closed window. Press the button to go down.

I know where the key is Mag I did not pick it up when I was there. I was SURE that I did however. I need it for the lock in the hut. I went back to the window and the button under the window that takes me to the blue key is gone so I cant get there to get the key.So what do I do now? Does the inventory move so you can see other things in it?

There are very few inventory so if it is not seen at the inventory bar, I think it is gone or not taken or have been used on that porthole already.
If you have saved game best to replay either the taking of the blue key or the using on the porthole.
BTW - did you press the button right of the porthole to see if it opens.

What porthole? I had to delete saves to be for the next set of saves and the save before the lady in red window must have been one of them. I have not used the key on the porthole I dont have it it use. I guess I will have to start the game all over I tried to go back to the next floor up by the ladder near the barred window but it goes up to the 3rd floor not the second floor where the blue key is. I was sure I took the key because I remember opening the window that held it. Oh well I guess it is back to the drawing board and start the game all over.Will go back and see if it works without the key.The porthole next to the blue key lock did not open because I dont have the key to open it.Evidently when she says to go up and get the key that triggers the button to appear then when you take the octagonal piece it reappears because it is not there now.

Is there a tech support site for Rhem 3? There may be a way I can retrieve my deleted games.

I found the blue key!!! I was not pulling the ring again I forgot I had to do that. I saved at the blue key lock because the blue key did not work. I went back right away to make sure it was saved and got a strange message. I could not get back to my save. I got in touch with Knut and he told me there was something wrong with my save file and to zip the DPOT file and send it to him which I did. He sent an email telling me he got it and will fix it and send it back to me tomorrow with the blue key activated.Thank you for the address to get help. I appreciate it I am really enjoying this one as much if not more as Rhem 1 and 2.
