Thanks to all who tried to help. After all I just had to restore the previous day saved game. Everything went smooth and goes till now. I really overestimated role of triggers in LC. As many others, I guess. When stuck I try to find out whether I talked to everybody possible and looked at every "magnifying glass" point. And now I founded it's not so important. I even didn't talk to barmaid at the day 2! Seems to me there are 2 kind of REAL triggers in the game: one with the short music (remember the broken sign), and other one is talking to someone, getting info on people or places. Game itself tries to push you further (remember the cat that brought you to the Celtic Corner). But... but sometimes it stucks - and we begin to wander through locations in desperate search of triggers. Alas, it means software's a little bit unstable (and yes, I have the update installed). So a word of advice for those who really stuck - just reload the game (and don't forget to save it after all evident progress points). Thanks again Dragonuk44, Volkana and MaG. And excuse me for such a large comment.

BTW, I'm here today to ask if somebody is sure what is the year LC events take place in?.. There were some 197x-s (3? or 8?) sign on the Hadden envelope. But the letter from that box mentioned MP3 and so on. Magazines near the Celtic Corner were also from 70-s - and not old, right? Remember Nigel asking the barmaid what is the year it is? She didn't answered.

Congratulate me - my PC crashed today. That's why it would be a great help for me if somebody could send the Lost Crown saved game - night 2, after the museum investigation and cottage camera hunt or somewhere there. Eager to continue, so be so kind. Thanks!
texaslady: Sure, sorry.

I don't have a saved game for you Dmitry. We'll have to wait and see if another member might have one. If you don't want to use the email that shows on your info, please update that with the other email addy. We have too many lurkers to leave anyone's email addy out for public consumption.

I had a quick search through all the LC threads and didn't see a solution to where I'm stuck. I went through the walkthrough to see if I missed anything and I can't see where I did but I must have because... I can't get the organ to do what the walkthrough says it should do once I play the correct notes. I've been through the crypt and screamed loudly once, looked at all the pictures on the walls, got Nathaniel's journal, can't get to whatever I'm trying to get to because of the black myst down there, went back up to the church, did everything with the gramaphone and the music book I'm supposed to do, figured out the music by ear (my college degree finally comes in handy!) and played it. Nothing. Checked the walkthrough and as far as I know, I did everything listed. Double-checked the music notes and I had them correct. Any ideas? I had the weird walkie-talkie thing happen when I was at the Net Hut with Lucy. I loaded the patch and the walkie-talkie worked correctly so I know the patch installed properly. I think this is operator error, not game error.

Celtic Lark are you playing F# or F? Ditto for any other keys that should be #? That's the only thing I can think of.

Ah! Cheese off a mouse trap.... I remember seeing the mouse trap but never saw anything that seemed to go with it (like cheese) and I forgot about it. I will have to see what I can do with that. The notes are the one thing I'm sure are correct. It's probably the only thing in the game that came completely naturally to me. I double-checked the notes against the walkthrough to be sure I was right and it was correct. I think the problem is the mouse trap. Thanks for the help!! Edit: I just went to the walkthrough to see where I missed the cheese and it apparently comes after the organ is played. Don't have time to open the game again and see right now but maybe the cheese isn't the problem. Will have to wait until I can get back to it tonight.

Thanks MaG, forgot all about getting the steam moving along. Makes way more sense than needing the cheese does at this point of the game.

LOL Yup, the steam is a-goin'! The organ is on. The only thing I can think of is maybe I didn't see every last picture in the crypt? None of the wall carvings I looked at *did* anything except the one that lead me into the chamber where the black mist is. Were any more of them supposed to do anything that might unlock what the organ is supposed to do?
